The Revolution
Well even before the press conference it seems like IGN has got its hand on the first image as well as some details.

Re: The Revolution
Glossy finish... I guess its because it a Next Gen console... lol...
And it really does look like an upgraded PS2... |
Re: The Revolution
So instead of stacking consoles, they can all be friends and stand side by side next gen!
altho i expect this will be the first gen that i only get 1 companies console. ah well. |
Re: The Revolution
I'm thinking of getting both the Revolution and the PS3
Sorry, Xbox 360, you havent really impressed me with your mediocre tv special... |
Re: The Revolution
I love it. Nice and simple. The slanted base is kinda interesting. And the console actually has straight edges. Huzzah!

The press conference will determine whether I pick up both Rev and PS3... but if I don't see anything special... Just the PS3 for me. X360 doesn't catch my eye anymore... EDIT: Ok, I just saw the Revolution... and by the looks of the console I'd say Revolution is going to be it's name. Anyway... the console looks nice and sleek, and again a slot-loading drive ... thumbs up for Sony and Nintendo in that department. Microsoft is still stuck in the drawer era. |
Re: The Revolution
Yay, a disc eater!!!! :D
2-3 times stronger than GCN? I hope this is one of their understatements, like with the GCN specs (6-12 million polygons....). |

2-3 times.... I'd say thats not going to cut it for the next-gen. But I may be wrong. |
Re: The Revolution
No more handle :(. Look how that poor person has to carry it. Shameful.

Re: The Revolution
is that supposed to be a charge station or a stand? ...... with the Cd slot lit up with no cords my guess is that the plugs go into the cradle and you can place the revolution anywhere and it transmits wirelessly through the cradle to any hook up like TV and Power.. then you recharge it overnight.

Re: The Revolution
18 minutes!!!!!!! :D

Re: The Revolution
even if it was 1.5 x more powerful than gamecube, it still looks better than perfect dark zero..
