Why are there barely any normal Mario games now? Why is everything now usually just a rehashing or combination of previous games?

Baseball games tend to suck, so I don't know how this is going to be fun... but every other Mario Sports game rules, so the jury is split on this one.

Honest to god, Ive always enjoyed baseball videogames more than I have football ones. Ive been looking forward to this one since the day I heard about it. Although I do hope Mario Loves Baseball isnt the offical title...
