Shouldn't the title of the console forums be something else now? These are the present consoles.

Yeah, we are in the next generation right now. But, I really don't think that it matters, considering talks about future systems hasn't even started yet, exept for a few rumours about PS3.

you could call it like current game consoles or just game consoles and people would get it... :p

or just call it "Gen consoles"... t... take away the next..... :sneaky: bye bye

What about something like gen... nevermind, i have nothing.

Well, for some of us, they still are Next Gen (Europeans). :D

It would make more sense to call them "current consoles" instead of "next generation consoles," because technically the next generation would be PS3, XBox 2, and N256. It doesn't matter to me either way, so call them whatever you want to. :/
