Best of Both Worlds.. (New WM X-8 Hands-On)

Thats sounds like some very good news. I always liked the AKI engine for gaming but since they improved on it, that will hopefully make the game even better.
|
This just sounds like a rehash of the AKI engine....but that's not a bad thing.....It's a good thing :D
|
WWF No Mercy= Perfection
WMX8= Imperfection I think it has a chance of being the best of the big 3... but I don't think it will beat out the N64 games. |
Hmm Fingersman I believe there are enough changes to keep it from a rehash. Even though some people will probably want it that way...

Anyhow I think the coolest of all those changes is a combination of the spirit meter (AKI games) and the stock finishers (Royal Rumble and the SmackDown! series) and ofcourse reversible finishers. I mean that could create some rather interesting scenarioes in the hands of advanced players. Could youimagine the type of finishes you could have.. like just a reversal fest... It would be cool.. Well atleast in theory.. don't know how it will come across in a game |

Oh yeah... if you don't know what Smacdown's sysem is like...
Basically your Special power, and your all around energy are two seperate things... the more energy you have, the quicker your special bar will grow.... |

There is also a flashing square beside this meter that acts as your stamina meter. When you start a match this meter is flashing green as you progress in the match this meter may change. If you are using too much stamina your meter starts to change from green to yellow and slowly to red. This gives the other superstar an opportunity to take advantage of your low stamina. However, I found that if you slowed down a bit your stamina meter quickly returned to green. The stamina meter is definitely going to be a great feature and will be an interesting factor in how matches play out. l[/url] [/QUOTE This isn't exactly like No Mercy but similar in function |
