Halo 2 was a huge disappointment to me, and this doesn't excite me either.

Well the maps don't look too amazing for something that was hyped up a lot. I play some Halo and I've seen better maps.

hahaha.... yeah.

I think my biggest problem with Halo is the maps. I love the engine to death, probably the best control out of any console FPS, but I just really, really, REALLY hate the maps. I liked Blood Gulch. That is IT. and it's sad when your buddy who loves Halo and calls it the best game ever will only play Blood Gulch, but insists that there are other good levels.

I think its the same case with our Halo parties... its like the "Best of Blood Gulch tourney"

halo 2 maps suck because they all depend on where you respawn as to whether or not you will win if the contest is between 2 competent teams.

You know what the name Longest reminds me of? The Longest Yard. Anyone play that map in Quake 3 Arena? My goodness was that map fun back in it's heyday.

I was never a Halo fan but when my friends played it, I usually did Blood Gulch also :D

I just hope that they will actuallly have original maps and not remakes of everything. Elongated looks pretty cool though.
