Explanation
 

It seem as though this whole April Fools thing has gotten out of hand. Dyne created the whole Big Brother thing as a joke, of course, but when he created the usergroup "Banned by Big Brother" he accidently gave them permission to view the staff only forum. Each usergroup has a set of certain permissions that delegates which forums they can view. He obivously did not mean for them to be able to view the staff only forum. In the staff only forum was a thread that posted the username and password of the Big Brother account so that all staff members could use it. So the members who were banned by Big Brother were actually able to become Big Brother, which is rather ironic. Obviously Danchastu (and possibly other members) logged into this Big Brother account, changed his avatar, and gave random members mass amounts of doubloons. The doubloon situation has been fixed since then, by the way.

Now, personally, I had nothing to do with Big Brother. But HK-47 was indeed my idea. I found him quite funny personally, and would have liked to continue his stay on the forums, but obviously now that is not possible. I hope this clears up everything.

stupid people not playing along...i liked HK-47 as well, even though i knew who was behind him and who HK-47 really belonged to in the past.

I'm finally appeased. Glad to see responsibility being taken for it.

Anywhoo, I'm come clean myself. After finding the password I changed Big Brother's avatar to evil Bert (was killing me not being able to take credit for that) and then later changed the username to Shooter. I posted once under Big Brother in response to KillerGremlin's comment on the Hello Kitty Xbox (staying in context with the italize theme too.)

About the dblns. I originally set out to give 10000 dblns each banned member. With a little coaxing by another member I was supplied with a list of those would should also share in the wealth. Then to remove blame I gave extravagant amounts to the admins wiping Big Brother clean out of all his money. I'm sure this took a lot of time to fix (as I saw Bond in the admin control panel for quite some time) so I apolize for that certain action. I'll be fine if you would like to ban me for that. I won't mind.

Not sure if you know but those banned by Big Brother also had access to the Think Tank forum.

and what's with GameMaster claiming the Staff forum was filled with "fictional" conversations between staff members...because the real, honorable, tasteful staff members wouldnt say such things?

I never had a problem with the whole Big Brother thing, it was a fun idea...it was kind of annoying that I was blocked for as long as I was, but that wasnt the problem. The lying, cop-out cover-ups, etc.

Glad you stepped up and told it as it is, though, Bond.

Personally I found it hilarious that you pranked the pranksters.

It would have been an awesome april fools joke if not for several odd miscalculations. And I was at school and missed the whole thing. >_>

Well, in reference to everything in a retrospective: A little bit of drama never killed anyone. If it weren't for times like these we share in the community, we wouldn't be as close as we are.
