ASBB 2003's Franchise mode takes 251 blocks...
That is just sad.
I think that Nintendo needs to hurry up and release the SD Card before more games start popping up like this... I think that the franchise being 251 blocks it is a good thing, because now developers won't have to hold back, this is a good sign for the future... maybe developers will support the SD card afterall! Until that time, the only option for saving the franchise mode is the "Game Cube Mega Memory 16X Memory Card" http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...904411-8904129 The thing I love about this card is, it's not 16 interchangeable memory cards (like the 4x Memory cards on N64), it's acctually 16x the memory (944 blocks)!!! That's the same size as a Ps2 memory card, so you can save almost limitless data for GCN. I suggest this to anybody who has a cube... it would take 16 first party cards to equals this one, that's over $200... and you get it all for $30... Also, from what I know, it's supposed to be more reliable than all the N64 third party memory cards... I reccomend you buy one Nintendo card just in case for your "valuable" data, just in case. |
Wow, I might have to get one of those mega memory card things, but who really has time for franchise mode anyways? A regular season is plenty for me, I wouldnt use the franchise mode anyways...

Yo negroe, franchise mode is the shiznit. [/Snoop Dog voice] Franchise mode is really fun, especially with all the trading and stuff. |
The franchise mode on that game is supposed to be VERY indepth too!!!
The only problem is, Baseball has such a long season, and if you play 9 innings, by the time your first year is over, ASBB2004 will probably be out ;) I wish EA would use the extra memory with Madden and NBA Live |
