I disagree with their scores for

Devil May Cry 3 - Thats at least a 9....
Constantine is at least a 5.5
Star Wars Republic Commando is at least an 8
Fight Night: Round 2 is definitely a 9
and I know StarFox Assault was short, but they deserve at least an 8 for graphics, and the name Starfox alone.

Whose EDGE MAGAZINE anyway? and Who do they THINK they are?

Some of those scores are kind of low but they could be worse. Doesn't bother me though, if the gamers don't agree with their ratings, it's only going to hurt them, not us.

No game deserves a higher score just because its part of a certain series. I wouldn't expect Zelda GCN to get a score in the 9's if it suck just cause its Zelda.

They don't. So? What does that have to do with anything? I wasn't talking about any of the previous Zeldas or whether they sucked or not. I was just saying that a game shouldn't get a high score just because of its name, and I used Zelda as an example. The Zelda games have a record of being great, but that doesn't mean the next Zelda game should get a high score even if it sucks.

Star Fox and Star Fox64 were very fun games (and Star Fox Adventures wasn't really bad, just sort of...eh). That doesn't mean STar Fox Assault should get a good score by default.

I'd much rather a mag rip every game than be IGN were everything put out by a major publisher automaticly gets a 7.8 and goes up from there.

Either way it's just a magazine's scores. A game can score 2 on a magazine but if I really like the game, it won't matter what score it got.
