Shadow the Hedgehog

Enter the "Shadowy" World...of an unexpected hero...

...OR IS HE?
I can just imagine the geniuses over at Sega:

Sega Head: "How can we further destroy the Sonic series?"
Sega Grunt: "Well, we can get rid of Sonic completely."
Sega Head: "Good, good."
Sega Grunt: "And replace him with Shadow. Since he's evil and all. "
Sega Head: "Indeed, kids today love evil."
Sega Grunt: "They also love guns."
Sega Head: "That is true. An evil version of Sonic wielding a gun? That's a stroke of genius. Never before has there been a game starring a fuzzy animal with a gun. This game idea is overflowing with uniqueness!"
Sega Grunt: "And I suppose at some point Rouge the Bat can show her boobies."
Sega Head: "Add a lesbian kiss with Amy and we have Game of the Year on our hands."

*sigh* At least the GBA games are decent.

Any true Sonic fan will boycott this game. I refuse to play any Sonic game that doesn't star Sonic. And I don't want some lame storyline about Sonic and Shadow being the same person or Shadow being a variation of Sonic in another dimension or Sonic being infected by an evil slime and turning into a evil Shadow form of himself.

Today's youth are looking for edgier heroes. I mean, look at the new Bugs Bunny. Sega MUST be struggling.

Wow, so they actually LISTENED to the survey responses this time. I wonder if this demo was built in under two weeks, since the time of the survey?

I voted Shadow the Hedgehog in the survey anyways, so I'm mildly happy. :D

Just get rid of the gun, and we're good to go.

Re: Shadow the Hedgehog

The thing that really bothers me is that the whole concept of the Sonic games was animals vs machines. Sonic made mince-meat out of thousands of robots, guns, and lasers by simply boucing into them. While I realize this is Shadow and not Sonic, it still bothers me. Everything starting with Adventure 1 bothers me.

And if Shadow is the ultimate life form why does he need some crappy human-made gun. If it was a laser gun I could see that...but- gah, I miss Genesis.

EDIT: Found you some pics.

Man that's an ugly looking game.

:Puke:

That's a terrible gun!! If it was a cartoony gun, ok, but this is just a poor attempt to be cool.

Re: Shadow the Hedgehog

Yeah, ****. He has Chaos power, or something. Shouldn't he being going kamehameha on everyone's asses?

Now, have Shadow with a sawed-off shot gun, and then we're talking.

Re: Shadow the Hedgehog

Is it just me or does it look worse then Sonic Adventure 1/2 ?

But the gun is a sad attempt. If Sega is smart, just drop it and release this as a launch title for all 3 upcoming consoles with 'perks' for each one.

Re: Shadow the Hedgehog

Is it just me, or does Sega suck at making 3D sonic games? Sure, the Sonic levels are fun, for the most part, but Sega really missed the mark when they added 400 new characters to the series. If you ask me, the original Sonic games are were the experience is at.

As far as that goes......talk about trying to sell an image. Shadow with a gun? ROFLMAO! That's the type of thing that would attract my brother....and unfortunate soul that never had the chance to grow up with 2D sonic games when they were in their prime.

Re: Shadow the Hedgehog

I just dont understand having Shadow Star in a game. Nobody gives a dip about Shadow the Hedgehog. Hell, have Sonic carry a gun if you want, but Shadow is and always was a hasbeen.
