Re: Powers of 10
Wow, that was pretty cool.

Re: Powers of 10
Good old Philip Morris.

Re: Powers of 10
Haha, saw this last week in class...as well as about 50 times before that. Every teacher I ever had loves to show this film. :)

Re: Powers of 10
I remember watching that movie in Chemistry or something. Its pretty cool.
|
Re: Powers of 10
Thats neat.
Keen even. |
Re: Powers of 10
never saw that movie till now...really cool, i still can't grasp the fact of how big the universe is. i would really do almost anything to be able to witness space in person. to be able to live to travel thrgouh space to other planets on huge ships like the Enterprise (ST still sucks Jeepnut :p). *sigh* the wonders we will never know...really depressing when you think about it...so i urge you not to :p

Re: Powers of 10
How did I make it through 12 grades without seeing this?
I did see a very similar IMAX presentation once, except they used circles instead of squares. A hoola-hoop was the starting point. |

I made this question better. :p |
Re: Powers of 10
Considering I went to public school in Arkansas it becomes a valid question.
|
Re: Powers of 10
I never saw it either and I go to a "state of the art school."
To be fair, all science up to biology (9th grade) is TOTAL crap. There are so many ****ing fallacies that you are taught prior to taking a real physics/chemistry course. |
Re: Powers of 10
That's like Men in Black where our universe is just a marble among other marbles being played with by aliens.
It makes me think that maybe my hand contains universes in it. |
Re: Powers of 10
