200 dubloon REWARD to....
 

I will give 200 dubloons to the first person that can find me a good, high quality Johnny Carson picture. I google him and get a bunch of really crappy pictures...

Im talking something where if I print it, it would take up most of a full page, and still look decent. Please note I have the full right to not reward anything at all If nobody gets me anything I feel is good enough.

see, not too bad, but not nearly good enough....

If you pop up that first picture alone in IE, and click print preview, it just dosent take up near enough of the page as I need. I want something large.

Here's all 8.83 MB of Carson. The image looks funny on screen because it's 900 DPI but it'll print up with photo quality if your printer can do that. Nomrally, I'd charge 500 doubloons for this kind of work but for you, I'll make it an even 240. :)

GM's picture is something like 300 pixels to inch rather than 72... so the image is a lot smaller than what appears on screen. When rescaled, it looks a bit like this attachment.

Are you sure it will print up photo quality? Because somehow I doubt it will...if it does, I'll fork over the 200, not 240, because thats what I said it would be origionally...it I print it and it still looks bad, you get nothing.

Just scale it to fit one page and you should be fine.

Well I survived, but the printed picture still isnt really that good. Looks really grainy when printout out 8x11. It looks like that one of yours GM was scanned from a crappy quailty magazine to begin with. I actually found one a few hours ago that beats any of the ones posted here. I hope none of you feel cheated, but if you take a look, I think you'll agree, it beats everything else. So sorry, nobody wins this time.
