I liked it. :D Really reminded me of the game (the 1st FPS).

*SPOILERS!!!!!*
The teaming up was a bit retarded at first.. but after a while it got pretty cool. :p

The fights between the Predators and Aliens were just amazing... a geek's dream! :love:

Anyway, did you like it?

What do you think of the ending? The Predalien? A sequel is welcome, but this time we need better actors.

I liked it too, thought it was treat unfairly by critics. Though it would have been nice if they had explained the whole sped up gestation period as a result of hormone injection.

You know, IMO there wasn't enough fighting between the Aliens and Predators. I will agree the parts they did battle was awesome, just wasn't enough for me.

Neo what do you mean? The fact that the Aliens grow so fast?

Another mistake is that Predators prefer/need heat. In this movie they all run around in the snow.... of course it's possible that they only prefer heat... but whatever.

Has anyone played the AvP shooter? It was one of the best shooters in my opinion.

If they make a better story (not some nonsense in a maze), get some better actors and have some more alien-predator interaction, you can hook me up for the sequel. ;)

Oh 1 stupid thing about the marines/guns.... why did they have to put those in if they didn't use them??? It would be like talking about the T-Rex in Jurassic Park but not showing him... :(

I thought it was hilarious when they teamed up in the end. How out there!!

But, the movie was enjoyable, and that is all that matters.

Predalien? If you're suggesting a hybrid creature there was no such thing. An Alien larva simply got on board the Predator ship and most likely impregnated one of the Predators as it does to humans. I didn't like how the ending generally favored the Predators. I guess the same could be said for the whole story because if the humans wouldn't have been there, the Predator's would've had their @$$es handed to them on extra-terrestrial plates. Instead the writers decided to give the Predators the upper hand the whole time. Most of the battles that occured without human interference were won by the Aliens though. I'm just glad the ending assures you that a single Alien still lives on...

On a second note, the initial previews for this movie were deceiving because they showed a clip of the scene where the Aliens and Predators from thousands of years ago are battling, and there's just tons of aliens everywhere. But in the movie, that's only just a short flashback. I was disappointed to discover that.

I don't know about the FPS, but the old arcade game owned. The new strategy game's pretty fun, too.

Alien Vs. Predator was a great movie-going experience. I didn't except much other than Aliens and Predators fighting, and that's exactly what I got. In terms of being a "good movie", it is not, by any means, but I ****ing love Predators, so I liked it.

Unfortunately I couldn't find screen caps of the baby Predalien at the end of the movie, but it's him alright. You can notice that it has additional jaws, like the Predator. :love:

The Predators kept and bread the aliens in the pyramid because they are head hunters and consider the aliens to be the ultimate prey. If you kill an alien you mark your armour with it's blood, this gets you lots of respect and stuff from the other predators. Anyway in the initial 'teaming up sequence' the human kills the alien, the predator see's this which is why he does not kill the human. Instead he respects the human as a warrior. If the predator had killed the alien he probably would have turned right round and wasted the human before they knew what the fack was going on.

The talk about the Pteryadactyal... Teradactyl... however you spell it, enclosure in Jurassic Park and you never see it, it's in the book though. granted it was in JP3 but that is crap so it dont count. Thing is there's loads of stuff like that in film's, the marine's wouldn't have looked right without guns and were only there to get killed anyway. People in a pyramid full of Aliens and Predators. Yep, someones gonna die a horrible death lol

Thought the film was actually pretty good in it's own right. How many times have we seen people try to interact two completly different story lines together like this and it's all gone horribly wrong. I thought they done quite well in incorporating the two alien races together.

i loved the movie, I thought it was a good effort. The only reason they gave the Predators the upper hand is because the predators originally hunted the Aliens, and sooner or later, no matter what the aliens would've been slaughtered. Did you see in the end, the big ass "silent, mind you" mother ship of the Predators with ALL those predators in there? If in the flash back 3 predators can take on an army of Aliens, and when push comes to shove use a nuclear self detonation to kill them all..... imagine what an army of predators could do?

On another note, my favorite part in the movie was when the Elder Predator showed up in the mothership to claim the fallen Predator after it had killed the Alien Empress. The Elder Predator just looked SICK.... spikes all over him, and that kinda murderous look. Basically the elder looked like he could own a few aliens with ease. LOL.... also was I the only one that noticed the Elder had markings all over his armor, underneath his cloak. When he turned around to walk back into the ship, I saw a breast plate on his left side filled with markings. Goes to show his ownage-meter is sky high.
