Fatass Hippo Color Poll
 

Almost done with my Fatass pic. Just need to add a background. Not sure which color job to use those. Which do you think looks better?

I think the regular looks good with the different colors. The two hues just don't look right IMO...

I like the one with the green spraypaint. That is some great work Danchastu. You really capture the emotion of the characters within their eyes and facial expressions.

When you change the hue of the hippo, make sure not to change the hue of the man's skin and spraypaint. Choose a good color for the hippo and then compliment that color with the spraypaint. I don't know if you wanted us to only look at the hippo color in the other examples, or of they'd be final color schemes... but, as it stands, I like the original one the most.

And you've got great style! Well done.

I prefer the red hue, actually. The colours are not as intruding, and they're still interesting.

I like the regular one best because the spray paint stands out/compliments the hippo better. Nice work.

Thanks for all the input guys. I actually went a different way using blue and pink/purple. Also turned the colored lines that I worked so long on to black. Skyline on right is NYC and left I believe is Toronto. Started a new account at DA to begin fresh.
