Am I the only one?
 

I've noticed that we now have the opportunity to put a picture in our profile. I was looking through my options and saw this new possibility and became intrigued. I have since made use of this feature and now you may all see my ugly face anytime you want just by checking my profile.

Shortly after using this, I looked around to see if I could view anyone else's pictures. However, it would appear that no one else is using it. Is there anyone else out there that desires to share a visual representation of their lives?

I believe I discovered this possibility while I was in Kansas. But since there were no pictures of myself at my disposal, I decided not to do anything with it. I promptly forgot entirely.

Unless, of course, that was some other website...

This was there a while ago and I believe that I put up a picture of a baby in my space then switched it to the Laker logo. Before the update, I would occasionally look around for how I got the picture up there in the first place.

Yeah, the profile picture has been there for a while, but I just have a picture of a giraffe in mine...I dunno why, I think it was a former avatar of mine.

That's odd, I don't see them. It's to the right of your stars/rep in your profile picture, right?

I knew about it. I put an animated Magus gif in there just for the heck of it.

Nope. And it's not mentioned in the FAQ at all. It's a worthless function.

I didn't really understand that it was supposed to be for an actual picture of us. I just thought it was a spot to stick a secondary avatar. I just put another copy of my avatar in there. Never cared for the feature much. *kicks at the dirt*

Yup, that feature exists. I'm on another forum that is powered by vBulletin and you can have your avatar and profile picture.

lol, i saw that feature one day, so i left a pic of myself there. I don't know the actual purpose of it is tho

So then it's not that no one uses this feature just that no one can see anyone's picture other than their own. Very useful.

I can see yours. And Stu's, and everyone else's. Maybe it's a matter of not having enough permission? Or your account is wacky! I'll contact the technician tomorrow.
