Just an idea

It'll probably be annoying to impliament but how about a system whereby you can trade a post count for a doubloon or vice verca, eg take 50 of my posts and give me 50 dblns, the idea has it's flaws I know but it's just something I have been toiling over, what do you think?

I don't think it would work -- post counts are hardly ever tampered with..

Yeah plus one of the 'flaws' I mentioned, people could buy a load of posts and then claim their doubloons back. But hey, like I said, just an idea to juggle around with.

Oh yeah, I totally understand.

I also had an idea which I PMed to Neo.. that people could get some doubloons on their birthday.. the only flaw is that they would have to keep track of who has gotten doubloons on their birthday, so you couldn't go and change it.

Well, just to keep things straight my birthday is this April incase anyone gets the Christmas spirit in their hearts a little early... :D

This is a good idea though. I personally value my posts over my doubloons so I wouldn't partake in it unless I was desperate. Let's develop this idea further shall we?

It was just an idea to be juggled around with, my exact idea is a bad one as it is flawed. So tell it to Neo or someone so's they can come up with someting better derived from the idea.

Second thought's I dont really like the idea of fiddling with post counts, it took me ages to earn these and I dont want to jeapordise them in any way.

I second this. Post counts are very mystical things not to be tampered with.
