It's neat how they're implementing sensors for threat, and then functionss that provide treatment.

Motion sensors for threat... I thought people hate "gay-dar"... heh, they hate it in halo cause it gives an advantage.

do you think they make that stuff up so people will join... I mean come on, armor that increases your strength by 3 times?

chameleon armor that changes colors? if this stuff is actually true and tested... every soldier needs to have it within 10 years... how many people would volunteer for the army then? This is borderline super soldier. We just need to start up with the bio engineering... the US could have an unstoppable army.

*imagines Reach*

that is some seriously cool stuff, I saw that liquid armor stuff on the discovery channel.

I could see people smacking each other with rocks to activate the hardening agent.... I wonder, if it goes back to normal flexibility after impact....Dont see why not...

The ability to blend in with any environment is so cool. The next best thing would be cloaking just like an alien Predator. I also think the super strength is neat. Now they need to implement devices that could make people jump higher and run faster. And once all of this is readily availble and supplied to the army, they have to start marketing a toned down version of the 'Super Suit' to rich young adults and teenagers.

Or to old people so that they can walk like they could when they were teenagers.

Technology scares me. I hope this never gets fully developed.

Yep, thats how I feel. It sounds great in concept but when you have super soldiers that the gov't made when you have no clue what side effects might occur. If I ever had a son or daughter and the US gov't was using stuff to make super soldiers, I wouldn't send them off unless they insist on becoming a guinea pig or whatever.

Just because some of us don't join the army doesn't mean we aren't doing something. There are other ways to make a difference.
