It was just delayed in Japan. Should've been out now, but they're saying spring 2005 for japan release and god knows when for north america.

I forget what this movie is about.

Is it like...the Game, but in a movie? Or is it a continuation of the game? Or is it nothing to do witht he game?

And it looks good, As long as its better than the last FF movie.

And no, FFXII wont suck.

Anyway...

I am so not going to get the one that plays on the PSP. I want my FFVII movie on my TV, not some miniature screen.

I believe it takes place 4 years after the events in the game. And I also believe Dirge of Cerberus takes place 2 years after the game.

Some people might not want to see this movie on account of the voices. Because FFVII was all reading people got into their heads what they sounded like and how they spoke. This movie would ruin it for most. There is no way they could get the voice right because its different for every person.

I'm still going to watch it though. That doesn't effect me.

You have it kind of switched around there. AC takes place 2 years after the game. Dirge of Cerberus is 2 years after AC, which is 4 years after the game.
