that was the purpose of it. Because for the past year before they released that price everyone had been laughing and claiming the PSP would be upwards of $300.

i think it'll prolly be $200 for U.S. cuz that makes it a nice round number.

but the japanese price would be more like $185

its possible tho they might keep it that price for US.

Right, but that's the low end model that is devoid of most multimedia enhancing extras. It will be interesting to see what the more expensive models cost.

that was a rumor, or a fake article someone made before the info was released.

there are 2 bundles being released...

1st just having the psp, power adapter, and battery.
2nd has all of that plus, headphones, strap, case and memory stick. The memory stick being the main thing.

and i believe that is roughly $235 in japan.

Those two pictures are the same guys. The second was at last year's E3. The first is from this year's E3 when they showed Zelda. Same guys.

Considering how jaded the DS IGN channel is right now, yeah, where IS the funny?
