Battlefield: Vietnam
 

Ok...so i found out Yesterday that this game came out in March. I was dissapointed, because I was looking foreward to it, then forgot about it.

Anyways, I plan on buying it nomatter what. Im curious as to who here has it, or has played it, if you would like to give me +'s and -'s compared to BF:1942.

But I plan on buying this game soon. If not soon, then Christmas. I just love it. I havent played it, yet im having withdrawl.

Stick with desert combat. A 'final build' of desert combat has recently been released and it's free.

I'm not sure what has been fixed since the patch came out so I'll let someone else cover that.

IMO, vietnam is better. i get tired of deserts all the time. the jungles in Vietnam and tall grass to hide it add a lot to the game.

Its faster tho. Then they makers of battlefield made a mod for Vietnam turning it into 1942 on vietnams graphics and engine. plays just like 1942 but it runs smoother and looks nicer. (but its only a few maps).

But honestly, Battlefield 2 comes out fiarly soon, like around febuary i believe, so wiating for that might be a better idea.

IMO, buy HL 2 instead. :D

I plan on buying BF 2 no doubt, But Im getting tired of Deserts and stuff for BF 1942. Plus Ive wanted Vietnam for a while.

From what I've seen it looks awesome, except the fact that napalm and tank shells dont effect the ground.

But BF 2 is coming to quench that void. :D
