RE4 Playable Demo at retailers
 

I was at work today (GameStop) and we just got the new promo (demo) disc for the GameCube. It just so happens to feature a playable demo of Resident Evil 4. I got a slow spot in the day where I was able to play it for about half an hour. It's awesome. I was thinking of skipping over this one, but now I'm pumped for the January release date.

I do have to say that the graphics weren't quite what I'd hoped for, but they're better than the new Silent Hill games if you consider the open environments. I think I was hoping for something impossible. But they are much better than I realistically think of the GameCube doing.

They had it at my local electronics store (FutureShop), a bunch of people were hogging it and I didnt have time to wait, but it looked cool. Although it appeared some of them were having trouble trying to control, I guess that takes getting used to.

Even though you were let down by the graphics, I'm going to remain optimistic and hope for the best. I hope Target has a playable demo tomorrow.

I want to get a chance to play it. I'm not a fan of Resident Evil, but this game sounds good. I have to try it to really decide.

Are you just going...or do you plan to play afformetnioned games at the mall?
