Friends with a few people on facebook, but that's about it. Feel like after everyone went off to college people stopped hanging around on AIM, MSN, or whatever other chat clients we used back then.

I wonder if kids these days still use those things or if it's all text messaging and snap chatting.

I really don't understand snapchat.

The only two I keep in touch with are Xantar and Bube:
A few years back, Bube and I would play coop Starcraft 2 and Portal 2.
I'm pretty much on daily chat basis with Xantar, I enjoy that. :)

(The only GTer I met in real life is Germy! I went to a Spinto Band concert in Amsterdam and met him there.)

Re: Do you guys still keep in touch with old users?

I actually follow Xantar on Instagram which is kinda funny considering we haven't spoken in years, lol.

I certainly remember Germy and the Spinto Band's tunes. My girlfriend knew about them in the 2000s and I felt cool telling her that I knew one of the band members (from an online gaming forum XD).

Also Vamp, pretty sure kids stick to social media for all forms of communication. I myself haven't used AIM or any IM client in ages (outside of Google Hangouts). Still, AIM holds a special place in my heart lol.

I bet BaB still regularly communicates with a bunch of former GTers.

Well Typhoid/Dylfon/Swan and a few others were all friends so still kind of speak to each other.

Swan and I and sometimes Combine do bad movies Friday almost weekly over Skype.

I've been out to Vancouver... thrice now so met a few of them and still speak to most via Facebook

I keep in contact with Crash via FB. Actually sold him one of my NES Classics.

Dan if you mean CanOfDan/DanChaStu, I still keep in contact with regularly. Probably second only to Xantar who I talk with on GChat.

I tracked down KillerGremlin on untappd... don't ask.

Keep in contact with Acebot. Actually hung out with him when I was down in LA last summer. Sent me an awesome birthday text!

Geo and Magus keep in contact with.

Have a few others on Facebook, I know Jason and Vamp and Allie, Prof, MarioThePlumber? (Plante), jeepnut

Essentially, it's never been impossible to find me is what I'm getting at

Wow. It's been almost 2 years since I last logged in. I still exist! Thanks for remembering me, takegiantsteps!

By the way, if anyone wants to friend me on Facebook, you can find me at @matt.kettmann.3

Logged in just to post that I miss you people.

I keep up with the people I know irl. Dylflon, Swan, Dyne, Combine...the other usernames I can't remember.

I've got a handful of people scattered on my fb, PS4, and IG, but only catch up from time to time with BaB.

I don't see you in steam anymore. :P

And the times when talking about video games had some kind of riveting mistery is over. Now you know all as it develops and companies don't dare deviate from the norm too much.

Hot damn, I remember you.

Glad BaB helped me pass this message along, lol. Also, it feels weird having this username. Vamp, if you get a chance, can you just change my username to BlueFire? :-o

Because I rarely play any Steam games. :P It used to be Portal 2 and then for a while Evolve. Now it's back to Nintendo; if I play a PC game, it's usually Starcraft 2. :)

Hey, I still exist.

I felt like the last time I looked here there wasn't anything going on. The Facebook group sent me here, so that was indeed a good reminder!

In terms of general life updates. I'm married and have a house now. The band has kind of been on a long hiatus and we're not doing as much any more. We are re-releasing our first album and playing a few shows in the northeast this summer though (Philly, Brooklyn, Boston.)

I've been interning at a new digital marketing agency in Philadelphia that hopefully becomes a full-time gig. It's the first "real" office job I've had. It's different, but enjoyable. Theoretically it will be a bit more stable money-wise than the music industry was. Not quite as exciting, maybe, but stability has its perks.
