Me.

I gave it a spin last night and will give it a few more the rest of the weekend...my first impression is that it is very subtle and would fit right in with the Kid A/Amnesiac time period. It's actually a nice evolutionary piece because while not totally original or mind blowing, it seems to have channeled the "feeling" of Hail to the Thief and the textures/sounds of In Rainbows.

I guess for a reference point Hail to the Thief is probably my favorite album of theirs.

Kid A would be my favorite. Definitely digging it a lot. I am curious if there's anything worth reading into over the fact that there may be more to the album still to come.

When In Rainbows was released online, and then on physical media...and I don't recall them adding any additional album content. I might be wrong [no pun intended] though. It looks like, with the physical album release, there will be a lot of cool artwork goodies if you're into that sort of thing.

So far I'm really digging Morning Mr Magpie, Lotus Flower and Codex.

Edit: I stand corrected, there was a bonus disc released with the physical release of In Rainbows. hooooray wikipedia!

In Rainbow's bonus disc (or disc 2) is actually really freakin great, too. There's been some talk about how there might be more to this album to come, because it's being pegged as the "First Newspaper Album" which could indicate more music is delivered and on a more regular basis...

Also the album is shorter than usual and the last song is called Separator, with the lyric "if you think this is over then you're wrong". Honestly people are probably reading too much into shit, but I'm down for more Radiohead, and they're known for doing crazy shit like this.

I'm a big fan, and was super happy when I heard about the new album. Gave it a listen, but still haven't found the time to really listen to it. I also think that it's sounds a bit like the Kid A period which, to be honest, isn't my favorite album (In Rainbows is, followed by Hail to the Thief). Not disappointed, but definitely need to listen to it more carefully.
