Sadly the movie can't be called Avatar due to the James Cameron movie. Anyhow, it doesn't show much, and curious if this will be a trilogy or are they gonna try and squeeze everyting in.

I saw this during the previews before Transformers. Looks interesting. I was pretty skeptical when I first heard about M. Night Shyamalan making the film, but I have to admit that the trailer looks kinda cool. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Well the cartoon was boss, here's hoping for a good adaptation. M. Night is a pretty awesome director actually, not so much a good writer/storyteller, at least not after his first two films. Artistically though, this guy knows his shit, and since the story's already written, we don't have to worry about some bullcrap twist that he's become notorious for.

Just finished watching the series. Such a brilliant show. Curious to see how it'll be handled in live action film form. So far the actors don't resemble the characters...aside from Aang in the trailer, but we shall see.

And you can see Appa (the sky bison) 9 seconds in, upper left hand corner. Looks just like him. And Aang going into the Avatar state (gah, now that word leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.)

They're turning each season of the show into a movie so we won't see her until the second one.

I'm a little shocked how it looks but I'm still not convinced. Everything Night touches turns to trash nowadays. I certainly hope they only do one season per movie.

Oh... and I hope they don't Dragonball Z it up and make everyone white.
