So the marketing campaign for this movie has really been kicking up lately. And yet, I still completely don't care. The plot doesn't seem like anything special. The action honestly looks pretty boring. And I hate to say it, but Angelina Jolie isn't as attractive as she used to be.

The marketing people are trying to run subliminal ads, alternate reality campaigns, viral ads and full blast billboards. And yet, I still feel absolutely no compunction to see the movie.

I've been wondering: am I alone in feeling this way?

No, I dont really care about this movie at all.
I dont even know what its about, but the commercials ive seen dont look that great.

Was actually at Sony Pictures Studios the other day and they were mentioning how this summer's Blockbuster list is super weak for their production companies (Columbia, Tristar, Sony Pictures, Screen Gems, Stage 6, etc.) and Salt is their primary flick of the season, hence the major marketing campaign. They were under the assumption that the huge star power of Jolie would spur sales for a relatively familiar plot, but I seriously...SERIOUSLY doubt this will make a dent in the box office. Just as you guys said, I have no desire whatsoever to see it.

The movie just looks weird, and the plot seems.. well retarded.

She's a spy who gets busted before she does something or someone is setting her up.

Think Xantar was the one who sent me the pic, but Bourne Identity with vagina.
