Children of Men
The Prestige

Both excellent. I've had good luck with movies lately.

i was really bummed when i saw children of men....maybe i just wasn't in the mood when i saw it, it was a little too depressing for me. i think i need to rewatch it because i only hear good things about it.

Children of Men was sick, especially for that last action sequence in the building. All filmed in one shot with one camera... ****ing beautiful.

I have the following from Netflix in my house right now, but haven't seen.

Last King of Scotland
Night of the Living Dead
Rear Window...

Hopefully I'll get to these before I leave Sunday.

Totally!

I must have skipped back to the starting of that scene 5 or 6 times to watch the things again and again. Its so crazy with the APC's and tanks shooting into the building, especially when you realize its only one take.

Last King of Scotland is sick. As in sick graphic scenes. Wicked cool.

Saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

It was a much better than the book. Which is my least favorite of the books so far.

Watched "Waiting" a couple nights ago and I can really empathize with the characters now because, well, I have been waiting for the first time this last week and **** like that happens....oh yeeeeeaah

I watched Titus last night...
It was like watching a foreign film with no subtitles...

"Chiron, thy years wants wit, thy wit wants edge and manners, to intrude where i am graced, and may for aught thou knowest, affected be." Spoken be as a cheetah whisks across open fields, through the lightest light, absorbing thine speed and grace, my brain doth naught compute.

I picked up on what was going on maybe a quarter of the way through...

I'm watching that right now. Funny and crude.

Today I saw Night of the Hunter (overrated, but Robert Mitchum is very good in it) and Pan's Labyrinth, which was a visual and emotional feast. Should have won best picture.

I just saw The Heartbreak Kid.

It's a funny movie.
Just feel weird about the premise.
