As one of the biggest Lost fans in the world, I wanted to start tonight's topic. It's a Desmond episode, so here's hoping it's gonna be a great one!

I speculate that Desmond might be the key to these flash sideways things. I mean, remember him being on the plane in LA X and then suddenly not? I'm betting he jumps between realities

Then one would wonder why he would be of use because in the other timeline the island is under water.

Also, we don't know if or why Widmore would be aware of any alternate timelines.

So why grab Desmond!?

Good episode.
I like how Desmond's seemingly sort of going through the same transfer of conciousness as when he was first introduced.
