I still can't see how people can let themselves go that far. I mean, I felt ridiculous at just 255 pounds.

I'm happy for him. Sounds like a great guy.

Stu, what you at now? I'm at 260, but my muscles have been getting quite big lately, lol.

Re: fatty...haha

Im at 210. Stupid huge ass leg muscles. Make sound fat.

My thighs are like, 35'' around. It takes 3 and a bit of my hands to get around my thigh.

Stupid Soccer and hockey make me build huge leg muscles.

Re: fatty...haha

I weigh about 160-170. I'm not even fully sure how, I just do. I'm proud of it though. :)

And my legs muscles take about 2 and a half of my hands around. I have smaller hands though.

Joeiss 10-28-2004 12:24 AM

Re: fatty...haha

My hands are humongus. It takes about 2.5 to get around my thigh.

Hey Typhoid, how much do you squat?

Last time i tried i did about 420 or close to it, like 410 or something like that.

Like i said, i think. I havent been in for a while, its not like i lost the muscle, because i do alot of squats at home with no weight though, but alot nonetheless, plus i have Soccer 3 times a week, and hockey 2 times.

Yeah, I'm 215 lbs. I know I could use to lose 15 of those. :Shrugs: I'm really muscular, but I know I've got some flab that definitely doesn't need to be there :p

That man... Should have played fat bastard.

Wow.... but it's a good thing he's working on it.
I like it how the hospital first makes people lose weight before they help him. Too many people think a stomach reducal solves everything...

I weighted 75kg some weeks ago, 3kg more than usual. So I'm trying to lose the fat. I haven't been too active in the last 2 months. :D

Happydude 10-28-2004 08:16 AM

Re: fatty...haha

what's your height? 75kg is ideal weight for 6'/1.8m

Canyarion 10-28-2004 08:44 AM

Re: fatty...haha

I'm 1m83 and I know I'm not too heavy. But I have a tiny fat roll on my abs that I don't like. It's also preventing me from seeing my ab muscles. :D

So I want to lose some weight. :)

And when did you lose the '666' in your name?

Happydude 10-28-2004 08:47 AM

a while ago...i asked neo to change it...*shrug* why, you want it back? :p

When do you think artificial intelligence will replace lawyers?

6'03
258

but weeks of illness has made me a lot weaker lately...so I'm probably close to 250, which is deceiving because I'll gain back that weight as soon as I'm close to 100% for a decent amount of time.

I'm at 185 now. I'm losing lots of fat and keeping all my muscle. I definitely don't have the arms I used to, though.

The problem with being heavy and muscular is that pushups are harder to do. Once I weighed less than 200, I was doing pushups extremely easily. At 255 it was hard even with my pipes the size they were.

Crono 10-29-2004 06:19 PM

Re: fatty...haha

You lost 70 pounds? That's really impressive, Dyne. How'd you do it?

Dyne 10-29-2004 07:51 PM

Re: fatty...haha

Diet and exercise!

I did Karate 3 times a week, and played Dance Dance Revolution a lot on Heavy mode. As well, I stopped eating huge bowls of cereal, I only ate a powerbar for lunch, and had smaller portions at dinner.

Natural's the only way to go. I can't believe some people use pills for weight loss.

Perfect Stu 10-29-2004 08:17 PM

Re: fatty...haha

losing/gaining weight is easier than most people will tell you...

if you excersise consistently and eat somewhat decent food, your body changes pretty damn quickly.

For example, one fall I decided I was going to venture into competitive football. My plan? Get stronger, and improve my stamina. So I worked out with weights and a stationary bike 4 times a week. I didnt even change my diet (which has always been ok). Anyways, in the first 3 weeks I lost 21lbs, then I gained 9 over the next 2. That's 30lbs of change in relatively one month.

Dyne is right, it's not about pills or magical diets. It's simple: burn more calories than you take in to lose weight, burn less calories than you take in to gain weight.

if only things were so easy girls wouldnt need to b killing themselves bcuz they only eat a tiny bowl of salad a day cuz 'accordingly' theyre fat..
i think boys lose and gain weight faster and easier as compared to girls...im not saying im not happy with myself..cuz i go to the gym bout 6-7 times a week for 1-2 hours and i eat mostly greens n fruits(huge portions cuz i like to snack and i got a huge apetite*blush*)but the weight still doesnt go up or down much...the most is 1-2 kilograms in 3-4 weeks....i think im healthy; weight's another issue all together...fairly chubby...meaty..not flabby ;)

Perfect Stu 10-29-2004 09:49 PM

Re: fatty...haha

anorexia has relatively nothing to do with one's ability to gain or lose weight...

and happygirl, meaty girls are the best. when I look at skinny chicks, I see them as sickly. when I see 'meaty' girls, I see healthy.

And I'm healthier than probably 80% of the people I know, and I'm considered very overweight.

Joeiss 10-29-2004 10:12 PM

Re: fatty...haha

Losing more than 1-2 pounds a week is bad if you want to keep muscle... but it's great if you're just trying to "slim up."

If you're referring to my 5 week example, I was about 30-40% stronger after those 5 weeks.

*shrugs*
