group suicide :hmm:
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2004/...406555343.html
Seven young men and women were found dead in a car parked at an isolated mountainside lot near Tokyo early today in a suspected group suicide, police said. Minutes later, authorities were alerted to the discovery of the bodies of two more women who had apparently fulfilled a separate suicide pact. The deaths follow several similar cases recently of groups committing suicide in Japan, often in cars, after meeting via the internet. ______________________________________ plain nonsense....this is what makes parents paranoid about having their kids exposed to stuff online... lets gather a bunch of ppl and kill ourselves :rollseyes: |

I dunno, to make it easier or something.....
I don't really get it, what if they enjoyed those last minutes of their life? What if they actually thought "These are some nice people, I could enjoy my life with them", would they tell that or would they shut up about it? What if every single one thought that but shut up about it.... they died for nothing. :( Suicide is very selfish by the way. :mad: |

Emo kids are the emotional kids....usually referred to as goths. They hate life and all that is happy. |

Taking the initiative to take ones life is rather frightening... doing it in groups makes it more uh...comforting, and also ads an odd element of peer pressue, as well as reassurance. |

Re: group suicide :hmm:
I agree 80% with these descriptions from Urban dictionary on Emo and Goth kids. That's what they look and act like at my school but they're still cool people. It's all an act anyway ;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emo "Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle." "The short and simple answer is that Emo is Hardcore Punk music with sensitive and emotional lyrics. The music is epitomized by post-Grunge, edgy rock with explosive energy mixed with sensitivity. Emotional lyrics about sadness, love and even anger are common lyrical themes. There is also a subculture of young people that are considered Emo. The casual Emo garb is faded blue jeans or slightly oversized work pants accompanied by a secondhand T-shirt with an out of place logo, bad Heavy Metal tees work well too. Good shoes would be Converse Chuck Taylor low-tops or old skool low-top Vans. The more extreme clothes of choice would include horn-rimmed glasses, cardigan sweaters, dorky polo shirts, pants that are a bit too short and hair that is spiky or messy in the back with straight cut bangs." Goth "There are two definitions 1) a person who likes to dress and act differently to the other people in society, normally in black but some like much brighter colours. They tend to be thinkers and more often than not quite creative. They have a satyrical sense of humour, and are able to laugh at both themselves and other people. This type of goth originated in the late 80's with the "death" of punk; goths back then liked the style and the "protection" it offered and so emulated it in their own style. They listen to and appreciate all sorts of good music. They can be gay/depressed/weird/mentally disturbed, but more often than not they are just normal people. 2) an offshoot of the nu-metal clique who think that to *really* piss off their parents they'll dress all in black and talk about death and suicide whilst listening to Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Slipknot because it's "cool". They tend to have very little idea of the other type of goths (or anything else other than themselves for that matter) and will probably change their fashion once it becomes "uncool" again. Thank god." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have no problem with Emo music though. It actually has some lyrical meaning. Oh, and I've always seen suicide as a very pathetic thing to do. If your willing to give up your precious life though, go ahead and die. |
Re: group suicide :hmm:
Update: I still feel sad and shocked about the number of suicides in Japan. Looks like they need to fix their society a bit. Not put so much pressure on people.
