What don't you like about yourself?
 

I saw this kind of discussion at some other forum, and I thought maybe I'd start a discussion like that here. I'll go first:

-My short term memory.

-My facial hair, that makes me look like some kind of animal when I have it.

-How I tend to care more for my friends than I do myself.

-My lack of trust in others. Especially females, which sucks, because I KNOW deep down inside that not all females are bad.

-I'm VERY defensive of my gender. So I don't take kindly to women making jokes about men, like how we're stupid and whatever.

-My limited sense of humor.

-How things I should have thought of at one time, just come to me at the last minute.

-My intolerance for children.

-The (natural) bags under my eyes. When I'm in college I'll look Jim Breur esk.

-How I'm usually nicer to strangers than my family and friends.

-Big mouth around friends, mute around new peeps.

-My busted nose. It used to be normal, but then the BBall hit it so many times that it's swollen up in the middle.

-My Difficulty in math

~~I can change all those except for the bags and nose. I'm working on them all currently.

Kidding...

- I'm shy around strangers.
- I put a barrier around myself. Some times I feel like I'm "acting", even around my friends. I wish I was absolutely comfortable with myself and able to behave that way 100% of the time.
- My abs.

One thing I do like is that there is nothing wrong with myself that I cant fix. I've been working on fixing each of these for a while...and I'm not nearly as shy any more. Once I start talking to a person, it's all easy from there, and my confidence has been growing tremendously. I'm much more comfortable with myself.

And I recently started a workout routine that focus's on my abs.

Well here is what some people don't like about me. I like myself, but these are things that people have brought to my attention.

-- My sense of humor. I seem to laugh and joke about everything. Espeically at other people's misfortunes.

-- I'm a music elitist. I think my music is better then others.

-- I tend to talk fast, walk fast, and just speed by everything. I also eat like an animal :)

I don't mind these things, but some people do. But guess what? Screw them :cool:

Well, as Vamp said, my abs. Or lack of. I need to get in shape.

My hate of most people in general. I tend to hate people, all people before I even get to meet them.

Recently I feel like I've become more cocky, arrogant, too confident, and just different than what I used to be. Ever since I became more social I think I've been trying to hard to stay that way or something. I sometimes get self-conscious because I don't want people to see me as being cocky. Another problem I have is saying the wrong things. I am not very good at talking to people face to face, and when I'm under pressure, or unsure of what to say, I usually say the wrong thing. It really frustrates me, and I feel like I'm a little lost at the moment. I like pretty much everything else about myself though.

Let us begin.



-My lack of self confidence. Girls always tell me im hot and stuff, and my mom told me a story ( Dyne knows it...Creepy) But whenever i get complimented by girls, I always think they are up to something.

-My inability to think before i speak.

-My inability to think before I act. It could get me killed one day.

Examples: Once, in grade 9 i mouthed off the most insane guy in our school because he ran over my foot with his buddies wheelchair. His names Kenny Saff_ _ _ ( Im not finishing it for safety reasons) But to explain how crazy he is, he won the "crunch" ( tackle" award in Football, ( which is an axe) and they wouldnt let him hold it.

And once i jumped on my buddies hood and he started driving like, 80 km/h and then stopped suddenly, and i went flying into the intersection.

-My lazyness. I just have no ambition to really do anything.

-My depression. I really hate chemical imbalances.

-My lack of trust for people which usually ends up in me telling nobody anything personal. ( except for one girl who knows everything about me)

I used to not like my hair, so I cut it off... and now everybody says they loved it.

Let's see, other things.. no, nothing with women (in fact I'm too good for my own good..), body is ok and there's nothing I hate, Penis is well-sized, and.. well..

Nothing. I really do love myself.

Except for my blond facial hair. WTF. DAMN YOU FACIAL HAIR. I try to grow something decent and you can't even see it at 10 feet away. Gay, totally gay. I don't really mind it in the end though; I just use it to catch my dribbles out my coffee and tea. I drop, it catches. <3

By the end of the day, IF i shave in the morning, i have a beard and mustache again. Its not cool man.

No, because then with my hair the way it is, and a beard and stache, i would look like a bum. A Transient. A hobo. A panhandler. A homeless person. A drifter. A dirty person who molests babies in their spare time, and homeless people have tons of that.

Plus facial hair doesnt really suit me, i have my sideburns goin, but since i havent shaved the majority of them, the hair is like, almost 2 inches long, so i end up having facial pubes. It would look better if i shaved, but i cant think of what i would look like without my face pubes and long hair. ;)

Hearing from other people, I start to remember what I hate about myself. Here goes...
-I care for others more than I care for myself.
-I get angry very rarely.
-I just can't tell someone off, even if I feel like I want to kill them.
-Lack of self confidence (just like Typhoid's example)
-More polite to strangers than close ones.
-My shyness.
-I'm too picky when choosing friends (girlfriends included - a reason I've had only one), so I don't have a lot of friends. (Ok, I do have quite a few friends, but I'm not as close as I would like to be)

And, if you ask my ex, she'd tell you that I bought her too many presents, and spent too much money for her (sorry, I'm pretty angry because she left me for some stupid reasons - the other reasons, if you're interested, are the first 2 things I posted).

I'm how to put this....I'm Mean, I don't like people if they don't bathe or if they don't shave, I mean once or twice a week is just not enough.. Shaving I let lapse I mean a full grown beard that you never trim looks really stupid... I'm a modern day mountain man.. and I judge people before I ever get to know them like I'll see a fat girl or something and yell out hey shamoo.. or something to all my friends..

I don't like that about myself I wish I was more in control of what I say I mean I am I wish I didn't judge or get angry or even be mean.

Oh man, I suffer from that one soooooooo badly. I try really hard to hide it but in the end I find myself just saying, "stop listening to that shyte and listen to something good, like everything I own" :rofl:

I just wish I could stop trying to be someone Im not. My close friends know im a really cool guy to be around, and can be a lot of fun. But when I get around people I dont know very well, especially girls, I cant seem to just act like my normal self, im always trying to act differently because somehow I feel like my normal self isnt good enough or something, but I know I just make the situation a lot worse because my normal self is much cooler than the person I try to be.

Jason, I know your problem. I always try to 'impress' people (especially girls). But now that I've met my girlfriend, I don't need to anymore. :D

i don't like:

-my hair (it won't do anything)
-my chin
-my complexion
-my hips (i like the bones tho... lol does that make sense?)
-my tummy (i don't think i'm fat... just not as fit as i'd like to be)


probly more i can't think of...


ps: my penis is disappointingly small.

i started off with lots to write ...as i read the posts...i realised that theres really nothing much about myself that i dislike..erm....mayb the fact that i cant handle too much *human interaction*<---this leads to a very small number of friends...tons of acquaintances...classmates..but not many friends..i dont get lonely ..but its just wrong when i dont have people to 'hang' with..*if i even know what that means..lol....
and mayb my fear of my parents ...i let them control my life....im a lil obedient daughter who cant stand up to them...
and just one more thing thats wrong and i absolutely hate...i was born in the wrong country..i should b in canada....with happydude..:(

Well, I know there are females here (one posted just above me, I know..) but I have to say this, being the med student that I am. This may be offending to some. If so, then feel free to delete it.

Females have an equivalent of a penis, it's just not called that. And it is small...

It may be something almost everybody knows, but I think I overstepped the border here...

And this is something I also hate about myself: I sometimes can't stop myself from telling the truth...

Telling the truth isn't that bad... I always tell the truth. I sometimes tell it even when I don't have to (I could just shut up about it).
In the end, it's in your advantage I think.

Like with my girlfriend, I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. I tell the bad with the good.

No, i heard about that......sadly....its.....umm....true.


When we are in the womb, we all look the same, if the pattern for us is supposed to be male...then...some things grow....and if its female..they...uh...dont.

Its hard to explain where it is...but....umm.....think "inside". Its not a pretty sight. Or thought, not like its an actual penis. But just the thought is creepy.
