A stone: onyx, and that "C" will be an "M" ![]() B stone: birthstone ![]() C stone: onyx ![]() so what do you think? changes? suggestions? |
Re: class ring...

Re: class ring...
Im getting a ring too. Woo class of '05!.
I just want a ring, to say i have a ring. Im not saying i wont wear it, but it wont be my most cherished article of "jewlery". I think the rings for our school are like $300.....So i guess its mandatory to wear it for that much. But those rings are good. I like how your getting your name engraved on it. At least this way i will remember how to spell it correctly. And the middle one is the best. |
Re: class ring...
>_> The first one looks nice. And it would go with any outfit as opposed to the blue. |
Re: class ring...
I like the last one
|
Re: class ring...
hmmm... so, so far that's...
-Don't buy one -The first one -The second one -The last one -_- |

Re: class ring...
Four "Waste of money"'s. You really can't go wrong with not buying one of those. Buy something useful instead. :D
As for me, I remember my class by the people I know from it, and all the yearbook comments. I've never seen a good class ring either. =\ |
Re: class ring...
My mom bought me the class ring in 10th grade and I never wear it because I've never worn rings and I'd feel funny wearing it. She's angry about that because it cost $300. I might wear it when I turn into a grown-up.

Re: class ring...
I got a class ring in high school. It was pretty special because our school was the only school in the state allowed to get the state seal on our rings. So I did. I wore it until the beginning of my sophomore year of college.
My suggestion: get the first one |

Haha I'm gonna propose to random girls I know with ringpops. It'll be funny :) |
Re: class ring...
I was thinking about getting one, then I realised I would never wear it. Like ever. Besides, I can still get one later on at the local Jewlery store if I so desire.

Re: class ring...
I agree that it is a HUGE waste of money. All the rings that I looked at that I liked were like 364 dollars. Wtf?? I agree that it's cool to have memories and something materialistic to represent the years you spent in high school, but written word can be a lot more usefull than a chunk of metal. Like Dyne said...I would rather have people sign my year book, and I keep a journal so that is of a lot more value in my opinion.
However I WILL be getting a class ring. This may sound bizarre, but my mom is making me get one. She is going to pay for it of course, but she is still going to make me get a class ring. I'm headed to the website here in a little bit to design mine. I'll post some pics when I get the one I want made. |
Re: class ring...
In my high school it was mandetory that you buy a class ring :( We have a Jr. Ring ceremony (mass)at 7:00 at night)
I managed to lose mine pretty quicly after buying it, did find it again though-- it doesn't fit anymore :( (finger grew between 10th grade and soph year of college). Anyhow, it is a waste of money, but get either the 3rd or the 1st, they match better, and with the sides being black, the blue doens't really work, and it makes more sense not to have ur name across the front. |
Re: class ring...
Personally, I'm glad I got my class ring. While it was expensive and it may be materialistic, it's something that is unique to that time you spent in high school and something that will last a long time and can be passed down to your kids. Also, we had a cool ring ceremony and during the rest of our time at school afterwards, it was customary to wack each other on the head with our rings.
