Re: Kill Bill 2

Tad late. i expected this when it came out.

Saw it the first night. Better then the 1st. Also makes the first even that much better after seeing the 2nd.

Movie of the year. Saying quite a bit seeing as its quite early in the year.

Indeed. That movie was so good. I had meant to make this post myself a few days ago and forgot.

Volume two is way better than Volume one. Volume two ties up all of the loose ends and brings a few shockers. I can hardly wait for the DVD Rip.

Re: Kill Bill 2

i thought that this was supposed to be a trilogy...i could swear i heard that somewhere....maybe just rumors or something my friend made up...

Null 04-24-2004 11:36 PM

Re: Kill Bill 2

no. was never and will never be a triligy. Taratino wouldnt do that.

And only reason theres 2 here is that 2 isnt a sequal.... its just the second half of the first. Really they are just 2 halfs of a long movie.

Rumor is that Quentin might do an Anime style prequel to Kill Bill highlighting when Bill was in training and whatnot.

Kill Bill 2 was great. Good storyline and plot, etc etc. Those who are in it for action will leave disappointed though.

Killing is wrong. Thanks for the compliment. Is the holding of hands a symbolic gesture for humans?
Oh. All of them?

Happydude 04-25-2004 01:22 AM

Re: Kill Bill 2

yes...killing is wrong...unless it's in a movie...because then evil people get killed...most the time, and i don't think anybody was complimenting you.

as for the holding of hands being a symbolic gesture, yes, yes it is...and yes, for all humans.

Awesome movie, yes. I saw it opening night, and then the day after, too. The first time I saw it, I was a bit let down because there was not as much action, but I still loved it. Then the second time I saw it was even better.

Great movie. Two thumbs up.

And Pei Mei is my hero.

Haven't even seen vol 1. not really planning on putting much effort into seeing it either, if i happen to be with someone that wants to I'll go along with it, but I'm pretty apathetic about it all

Re: Kill Bill 2

Actually there is going to be a third one featuring the daughter in 15 years or so from now. They've already talked to the little girl that played the daughter in this one and apparently she's agreed to it. So now they're waiting for her to grow up and they'll continue the story.

Your telling me that they are going to wait for 20 years?....

No. He's telling you we'll have to wait 15 years.

lol. it'll never happen. but cool to think about.

Re: Kill Bill 2

Great movie, except that all the cool parts I've been seeing in trailers and such showing Bill when he was younger kicking ass in China (or Japan? whatever, some Asian country anyway) weren't in it. Not like I was looking to see them in the movie, just remembered them now.

But anywho, good stuff indeed.

I believe it was 20 years. Tarantino said he wants to do it.... But if that actually happens is up in the air.

Ah. Well thanks for the clarification. I had only heard a whisper of it somewhere.

Ya, i saw vol 2 the day after opening night.

Kill Bill is in my top 5 favorite movies.

I liked the 2nd one more than the first but most of my friends liked the first one more. meh.

...i want to say it was a great movie....i REALLY want to...

but unfortunately it didn't exactly suit my tastes, plus i don't go to movies that often so i can't really compare it to much...ah well, i start working in a movie theatre on friday, i should be up to par with all the stuff

bobcat 04-25-2004 10:18 PM

Re: Kill Bill 2

I saw it on Friday night.

Awesome movie. I loved it. Uma Thurman (sp?) kicks ass in it. Best actor. And the Kung Fu guy rules.

Re: Kill Bill 2

Fun fact:

The man who plays Pai Mei (Gordon Liu) is the same man who plays Johnny Mo leader of the crazy 88's in Kill Bill 1.

I loved the first. The second one changed the pace a little, but I also loved it.

BTW: I never realized how attractive Uma can get sometimes, lol.

Me and Hero2 were thinking something similar to what you said about Uma. Get her dirty and bloody and its all :hump: but keep her clean and its...yeah, I could still do her but....:p

Re: Kill Bill 2

Uma Thurman's ugly. Her face is all bony and same with the rest of her body. She'd be hot with a blanket covering her face :P

Thats why he said sometimes. and he's absolutly right. every so often they'll be a sceen where she seems to look 10 years younger and a much softer less bony look.

A perfect example is in Kill Bill 1 where she enters the Sushi restaurant with the Okinawa shirt. She looks pretty good in that scene.
