i say its a tie becuase i like DBZ (i know i'm too old for it..but i like the whole powers and fighting thing)...anyway yeah, i think it's a tie...or maybe even super man will win because goku can be beat from physical damage if he doesnt have any sensu (sp?) beans...as for superman, he could only be beaten with kryptonite(sp?) so yeah...it's either a tie, or superman...

what version of gaku are we talking about here. super sayan 1...2....3 or kid goku. if kid goku..the first time he was a kid or the GT version of goku when hes a "kid"

just something to think about.

I vote goku he would kill superman were as super man would just beat goku up and then goku would become stronger and eventualy kill superman.

that and trowing a car at goku wouldent work like it would aginst batman.

uhmm.... I think the man of steel would kick the **** out of Gokou....

in rl.....

but in cartoons Gokou would win, only cuz Gokou could move at lightning speeds and... Instant Transmission would just destroy Superman...

Durrr goku would win, cuz trunks would come from the future and warn him about him comming, and then he would train for awhile, then he fights him and goku seems to win but then superman reveals his true power, 5 episodes later goku reveals his true power, but then 10 episodes later superman has a new power that cant be beat, and then when goku is about to lose he teleports and gets krypton and comes back with it and superman loses. Superman sucks, just like mummys

right....unlike Superman, Gokou has no natural weaknesses.... if fact everything saddening to him like someone dying seems to unlock a hidden power...

Saiyans have 5 hidden powers inside of them... waiting to be spawned by uncontrollable emotion.

waht if superman just shot him in the head?with a machine gun? that had super-magical no dodging bullets? that fired 1 million bullets a second? that covered 5 miles up and down? Could he survive then,....?

You can't really compare the two in terms of who would win, etc. since each come from so different universes.

In the DBZ universe, a person can train for such amount of time and become tons stronger; seemingly without limit.

Superman, however, has a cap to his strength. I don't believe Superman has ever become more or less strong that he is (discounting the whole electric thing).

There's also the thing about weaknesses and such. Some say Superman's weakness to green Kryptonite would be his downfall; Goku would just throw a bunch of the green rock at Superman to kill him. But where would Goku get that Kryptonite? It doesn't exist in Goku's universe.

And also, what about ki? The DC universe does not have ki. So, does that mean Goku would not be able to use his Kamehameha? And its been shown that ki can affect the strength of punches and kicks in DB/Z/GT as well (I remember Piccolo saying something about a kick he performed taking the rest of his ki). So would Goku's attacks be weaker from the lack of ki?

Then we also get into the whole thing about the suns and such....

They're just not comparable so there's no use trying.

And, FYI, neither Superman nor Goku is human (Kryptonian and Saya-jin respectively).

Not all that is true. If goku and superman were fighting that would mean someone would have combined the two universes and that means anything that would have exsited in either of the universes would exsit in the combined universe. so goku would have his ki and superman his...superness.

we really should just change the question to who you like more not who would win in a fight. that would cut down on the hate. =-D
