Re: Driv3r
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Perhaps the best way to look at Driver 3 is by calling it what it is: a videogame take on a Hollywood car chase. Driver has always been about great car chases, superb physics and car crashes, and the third in the series is no different. Starring the series' quiet but rough unsung hero, Tanner, the undercover cop once again takes a clever carjacking network. Building on ideas implemented in Driver 2, players once again get the chance to steal an enormous load of cars (in fact, all cars in the game are jackable), are able to drive more cars than before (including trucks and boats), and are once again able to step outside of their cars. Atari, Inc. announced today that Driver 3, the third installment of the popular Driver series, now has an official release date of June 1, 2004. This is three months later than the March release date and more than six months later than the original announcement. Source: IGN.com |
Re: Driv3r
I'm looking forward to it...I loved Driver, but not so much Driver 2.
If this game gets good reviews, I just may snatch it up. |
Re: Driv3r
I'm looking forward as well. Driver was one of my all-time favorite games. I never played Driver 2 though. I heard too many bad things about it. However, it seems they have made massive improvements and Stuntman, which was by the same development team, was awefully good.

Re: Driv3r
whats the difference between drivre and GTA? sounds about the same

Re: Driv3r
I'm quite excited about the destroyable environment. It is said that you can interact with most of the environment. Drive through fences, etc.
Although I can't quite say I'm wetting my pants over it, I would like to pick myself up a copy when it comes out. |
