Casting Call: Street Fighter Alpha
 

This is not a confirmed or offiical post about a Street Fighter Alpha movie. But I decided to come up with a list of people who would make perfect actors/actresses for an Alpha movie. With the help of Dark-Samurai, I came up with the following:

Ryu: Marc Dacascus (Crying Freeman,Cradle2Grave and of course Brotherhood of the Wolf ~Canyarion)
Ken: James Marsters (Buffy Vampire Slayer, Angel)
Chun Li: Shu Qi (So Close, Transporter, Gorgeous)
Sakura: Vicki Zhao (So Close)
Guile: Dolph Lungren (Rocky IV, The Punisher)'
Blanka: CGI Character
M. Bison: Dwayne Johnson (The Rock)
Fei Long: Jackie Chan
Guy: Jet Li
Cammy: Stacy Kiebler
Balrog: Mike Tyson, Booker T, or Mark Henry
Vega: Some spanish man, opinions needed... lol
Sagat: Tong Po *bald* (Kickboxer w/ Van Damme)
Dan: Ekin Cheng (Man Called Hero, Twins Effect)
Akuma: Bolo Yueng (Double Impact, Blood Sport)
Yun and Yin: Andy Lau

Anymore needed? If you guys agree then go for it, and if you think someone else should be someone else, then by all means, this list needs all the help it can get.

Hm nice idea... but remember that Guile was once played by Van Damme. :p
Oh yeah, you forgot that Marc Dacascus was also in Brotherhood of the Wolf.. I was so bold to edit your post. :angel: ;)

The original cast was better. Raul Julia.. Van Damme.. Kylie Minogue.. man, nobody plays a better Cammy than Kylie Minogue...

Nothing can touch the original Street Fighter movie. :p

Anyway, you could maybe add Antonio Banderes as Vega or you could use I guess Billy Kidman with long hair :confused:

I wouldn't touch the original Street Fighter either. But in Alpha the character sprites are sugar coated, therefore we must sugarcoat the actors.

Maybe Van Damme could play Guile AGAIN, and Kylie could play Cammy....i didn't think of that when I was doing this list. I just thought Van Damme had too much of an accent to be a US Air Force Captain. We'll edit the list a bit...

Cammy: Kylie Minogue or Stacy Kiebler..
Guile: Van Damme or Dolph Lungren

Lets let the posters decide...

Oh and Raul Julia is dead so ... can't get him back...

Are you a buffy fan, ProjectEden? 'Cause Angel was in the last casting call, and spike is in this one. *Buffy fans unite* :D

Anywho, looks good, but I'm not an avide Street Fighter gamer, so I dont know who a lot of these people are, although I do know some of them.

Uhmmm... you misunderstand...

Keibler is a proper noun so it's not effected by the rule.

hmmm, heres my idea:

ryu: marc dacascus (i agree, he would make a good ryu)
ken: i figure spike would make a good ken, but he'd have to buff up a bit...he looks quite scrawny
chun li: maybe lucy liu
sakura: the girl from crouching tiger hidden dragon, i forget her name
Guile - van damme (although he'd make an even better charlie, IMO)
Blanca: they should actually train an ape to do it ;)
Bison: not dwayne johnson....totally wrong for the role.....not sure who though...possibly arnie
Cammy: heidi klum, i say
Balrog:since he did such a good job in Ali, will smith may be able to do it

I agree with Ryu, Ken, Sakura, Van Damme, and Mike Myers...

Blanka should be a CGI character since they are good at that stuff these days. It's a fight between Kylie, Stacy and now Heidi... cuz they all are beautiful blondes. Will Smith would have to buff up as well to be balrog, but I don't think thats his element.

But I think The Rock would make an excellent M. Bison. Picture Scorpion King bald, with a hat and shoulder plates and a red costume.... looks good if you ask me.

I think Zhang Zi Yi.... alright... maybe...but Shu Qi would make a good one too because of her legs....

and now that I think about it, Vega would either have to be played by Antonio Banderas or Marc Anthony with really blonde hair extensions... LOL

I think Antonio Banderas would make a good Vega but i just dont like him.

Bison's a hard role to fill, i dont know who to cast him as.

Don't cast Bison at all... he's not in Alpha. He's not in Alpha story. Alpha is about Ryu fighting to reject the Evil Hadou energy that resides in him, so there would be no need for any of the Shadowlaw except to fill the roles of Street Fighters in the movie.

I think some of these guys would need a little buffing up before they take on these parts..............and btw I totally disliked that street fighter movie, Ryu's and Ken's Characters were so far off. Since when did the million dollar rich boy become a thief. :confused: Neways lemme stop there before I start to rant and rave.

Now that I look at it, Depp would make a great Vega, only except for one fact, and that he is not Spanish born. LOL

He does have that clean look to him, and i guess a crowdpleaser for some of the Lady SF fans.
