Re: How Sad

It's kind of mean to put her on the spot in front of an entire stadium, don't you think?

Re: How Sad

No, not really! All he was doing was raising his chances for her to say yes (Kinda cheating I guess). She could have said yes and then broke it off later instead of embarrasing him in front of the whole nation. But, because of the situation I guess she didnt have time to think.

Yeah, I guess you're right.

Re: How Sad

yeah, surprises are awesome but something like that should only come when there is some confidence ... in other words, was he sure that she was ready for something like that?

Re: How Sad

I feel so sorry for that guy, rejected on national television. I guess he felt sure that she was ready or he would'nt have asked on T.V.

Well, honestly.. I think it went downhill as soon as he said "baby baby baby."

Pff that dude's pathetic! I don't feel sorry for him... embarrising his g/f on national television.
It's just like the man-woman in The Matrix: 'not like this... not like this'

Burn.

...and on National TV

Re: How Sad

Well, the girl could have said yes in front of everyone, then told him "no" later. That could've made of it less of a total diss.

Re: How Sad

Did anyone watch the video? The whole thing was an embarassment, letting his girlfriend make a fool of herself in front of a whole stadium, and THEN proposing.

I'd say he had it coming. Should have done it in private.

Re: How Sad

Yeah. A basketball game is a crappy place to propose. You should do it somewhere good like a restaurant or a park or a private dinne or an aquarium. An aquarium would be an awesome place to be proposed to. It's blue and it has fish and large mammals swimming around. I would like to see someone say no to a wedding proposal in an aquarium.

Re: How Sad

You know what, if you don't know enough about your girl to know that she wants to marry you and more importantly, be proposed to in such a way, then you have no business asking her to marry you. Something tells me that if he did his research, he could have figured out that this was a bad way to propose.
