Justin Timberlake ripping of Janet Jackson's shirt
 

Did anyone else see this at the VERY end of the Superbowl half-time show right before the cut to ads? It exposed her right breast, and if I recall correctly, a silver nipple cap was on it. But still..

Crazy. Justin is crazy. It couldn't have been planned. Or maybe, he was planning it. Or maybe somebody was betting him to do it. What do you guys think?

The important thing was that it was enjoyed by all regardless of whether or not it was planned.

I think it was planned. Janet was prepared for it thus the little 'cap'. I thought it was kind of uncalled for, I mean, there are youngsters and old people who watch the SuperBowl also. I'm sure parents who had children that witnessed it weren't happy. And old people were probably appalled and disgusted with the modern day 'entertainment'.

It was definitely planned. The only question is whether it was planned just between Justin and Janet for publicity, or whether they had the go ahead to do it by CBS and MTV. MTV and CBS have issued apologies, but according to the Drudge Report (http://www.drudgereport.com/mattjj.htm) CBS knew about it before...

In addition, it wasn't really a nipple cap, it was actually a nipple ring with a shield, like this:

Well if it's any networks fault, it;s MTV. They were in charge of the half time show, and it's either MTV or just Janet and Justin that planned the stunt. We all know that they won't be in charge of something like again.

I was watching the superbowl when this happened. (those girls in P. Diddy's and Nelly's performance were hot. :)) And I was watching Justin and Janet dance, and then I saw his hand go around her and then *poof*! it was like magic. lol.

In reality its more of CBS's fault then MTV's. Doesn't live TV have a 7 second delay? Couldnt ANYONE have noticed too much got taken off and then in that time frame, cut it out or something?

Yeah, there is a 7 second delay during which they could could have blacked it out.

I was at a party with about twenty other college students and all of us were just in shock. Everyone agreed it was inappropriate I'm suprised Janet agreed to it, then again, maybe I'm not.

Both CBS and MTV are owned by Viacom. Its Viacom's fault that such a silly spectacle was displayed.

i don't think CBS knew it was going to happen but they probably could have cut away faster. i was shocked when i saw her boob come out, but lately with all the stuff they'll put on tv i was not as shocked as i should have been

Lol, speaking of nakedness, did anyone notice the streaker right before the second half kick off? Lol, I was just watching it and I didn't realize at first what the announcers had said, so I rewound it and sure enough, there was a naked dude dancing on the field right before the kickoff.

I thought the halftime show as a whole was pretty weak... at least she made it somthing to remember. I don't understand why they just don't stick to one artist for the halftime show now, and why everybody has to do bad lip singing.

Lord.. it was a boob... not like it was her 'kitten' or anything. Society needs to lighten up on sex and sexuality. We see guys chests all the time, if you see a womans... who cares? It's just a mass of fat anyway. If people are really that anal about thier children seeing a females boob... then they should take the stick out. Europe wouldn't have been phased by this, they show topless women on t.v. all the time...why? Cause they aren't afraid of sex like america is...

In America Sex is much MUCH more hidden than violence. That's why games like BMX:XXX and DOA:EBV are considered controversal... while the mass of killing blood guts and violence games don't get into any trouble. (cept an occasional PC FPS and GTA which wasn't taken down from any stores)

Although that made me laugh.. that has nothing to do with it. I think Britney Spears is hot, and Jenny Macarthy, and Jordana Brewster. However, Janet... not so much... there are plenty of heteros that will say the same thing. She looks like her brother with that ugly pinched nose. You also have to understand, Mike looks like a chick... so for me to say that they look alike, really doesn't mean I'm calling her a dude. She's Mike.. with darker skin and boobs. They even both have that annoying "I need to always speak in a soft whisper" voice..ugh. She looked better back in her "Throb" days..
