The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

November 5....

I'm probably going to see it on saturday the 8th. I'm really looking forward to it.
Reloaded kinda dissapointed... it was cool, but storywise not that great. And Neo was boring cause he was invincible.

Actually, with the world-wide simultaneous playing of Revolutions, the east coast's first show should be at 9am

Hopefully, I can get tickets for 6am(West Coast)

i watched the The Core in IMAX and it sucked...

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

I'm going to try and see it on IMAX at Universal Studios. IMAX is meant for big action movies that have big and expensive visual effects. Watching a chick flick or something that has no action on it is useless. Matrix will kick much booty on IMAX though. I will see it twice on the release day, the first showing of it, then on IMAX later on.

All I have to say is that it better be better than Reloaded. I'm going to wait to hear opinions. I don't want to be dissapointed again.

Man, im super stoked for revolutions...i think ill buy the soundtrack.

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

Ehm.... is the soundtrack any good or are you just buying it because you're stoked for the movie? :p

What's IMAX?

Ehm, a worldwide release, does that mean it's on the same DAY, or even on the same HOUR? Cause if it's the same day, I would be able to see it earlier than you :p (which I won't ;)).

Sooooooo.... it's like a huge film screen/projection? Where do these things fit in?
Or is it more like triniton glasses? Nah that would be too expensive.

Basically. Ive never been to an Imax, but I believe that the screen is curved around the audiance, making it feel like your actually inside the movie.

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

I've been to an IMAX a few times. First you walk in and all the seats are practically right on top of one another...it's really steep, and really high. And then the screen covers the whole space across from them, and it's curved. The Matrix Revolutions would be awesome in one. Anyway, I've been anticipating this movie for ever since I saw Reloaded. My friend and I may see it when it comes out if we can get tickets. I can't wait.

I got tickets earlier today for the 1:00PM showing tomorrow with no problems. I will see it again this weekend on IMAX if it is worth it.

nope, thats Omnimax, Imax is just a big-a** screen ( i think 4 stories high, and a bit wider)

I'm going on Saturday with some of my colleagues.

I'm hoping for any phrases or scenes that hint of a fourth movie!

I think that they should make a prequel to the first movie. That would be interesting.

You mean like...the Animatrix?

By the way, the early reviews you can find on RottenTomatoes aren't good. And before you start snitting and going "Critics don't know anything," keep in mind here that these very same critics overwhelmingly liked the first Matrix and Matrix: Reloaded.

i have tickets for 7:00 am tomorrow... i'll make sure to tell you guys the ending....j/k, i would never do that in a million years.

Actually, no not at all, that's the most incorrect thing I've heard all day. He means a prequel starring the same actors who portray the characters in the first two movies in the same format, live action. Not different characters and actors in different formats you silly boy.

I know someone online who's already seen it.(works at theatre)

He says no better than reloaded. A bunch of action and little story to back it up.

I might see it. But not for another week or 2 since I won't have $ until then.....

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

I was satisfied with the movie. Ooooh man, the action was just great. It's not like the other Matrix movies in terms of intellectual depth, however...

I'd say the movie definately hints to a fourth, but not as directly as I had hoped. My friend and I stayed after the film in hopes that the synchronized showing had a much greater purpose... to reveal a fourth movie to the masses without having the press release it first.

Unfortunately not... so no need for you folks to stay after the movie.

... Ah yes, you'll all be surprised about the movie, I guarantee. I loved it nonetheless, however.

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

its eh, decent enough. More i think about it the more i kinda like it better then the 2nd.

still, IMO, id of liked it to end after the first. the 2nd and third tug it down a bit.

Happydude 11-05-2003 10:17 PM

Re: The Matrix Revolutions Countdown!

IMO, the ending could have been A LOT better...there are a few loose ends...but other then that, its ok...

and they couldv'e made the movie longer and make it have more storyline thingy...the action was great though...i would give the movie :D:D:D / :D:D:D:D:D
