But what does this mean? Where did the boys go? Who are the boys? And what happened to the previous logo? Why is there no mention of GamingNow in the new logo? Many questions in need of answering await our new logo...

I was not aware of any leaving and or coming back to town of said boys. Honestly, I'm frightened.

I too am confused on the "boys." What town are they back in? What town did they go to previously to return from? Is it the Lost Boys? because that was a dumb movie.

The mug is pretty cool, though. But being the writer of gamingnow that I am, where did the link go? Is it hidden in the foam?

I know about the status of the agreement. But up until yesterday you guys were still "working things out."

Yeah. Im going to have to register for the GamingNow message boards for like the 10th time. We keep changing and moving. :shakehead

The new logo is my doing (:D) I know it's pretty bad, but I only have paint. The slogan "the boys are back in town" is from the song Stonecutter posted. It doesn't have any significance to the website at all, just for fun. I've asked Stu to make a new logo, so this current one is just a stand in. I'll probably replace the slogan with something new today.

The GamingNow agreement fell through the roof and into the bathroom. Although it did end peacefully. But sadly our linking merger is no longer; I would rather not go into details because that could possibly end the peacefulness. In any case, we are working on a new website for GameTavern, and I promise this one will actually go up and should be up by the end of this month. The site we are working on is going to be quite different from the ones we've had in the past, so it should be interesting. A lot of much needed changes are happening to GameTavern and hopefully this is a sign of a bright future.

Well I cant say im sad to see Gamingnow out of here. While it was a decent site, it just was never as cool as GT having it's own homepage. I cant wait for that.

I'll stick around, just because its pretty cool here. But needless to say my attention will be focused around the GamingNOW forums.

Well the merger didn't last very long now did it? What happened? Did the GamingNow guys want GT to be renamed into the GamingNow forums? Did the GT people want GamingNow to be renamed Gametavern?

Oh well.

Im not an owner or director of either site, I just work at GN, but from what I do know, it was just that GT wanted their own site, so we just went our seperate ways. There are other factors at work, but like I said, Im not at liberty to say...

It will. Not a big rush.

What actually happened between GameTavern and GamingNow is not the concern of any GT members, nor anyone else. Please don't ask again. Like Bond said, it could break the peacefulness. Just forget about it, GamingNow will go it's own way and GT will go the other way. Enough said.
