Checkers Bracket!
 

Here is the checkers tournament bracket. It is single elimination. The positions were chosen completely at random, so don't complain. Find your opponent and get your game in before August 8th. People with a bye can just wait until round 2. If we all get our rounds in before then, we will start the next round immediately. Good luck to everyone, I know I'll need it :).

I hope I can get a hold of this CD-R guy. He hasnt listen an AIM name or anything. I sent him a PM tho. Just curious, what would happen if I couldnt get a hold of CD-R? He only has 2 posts for gods sake.

The third round has started! Find your opponents and get your games done. Since I don't know the situation with CD-R right now, I'll give him up to 8-14-03, which is hte deadline for this round. Good luck everyone.

umm...i really don't have time to wait for CD-R to play...i'm leaving for 3 weeks in 4 days....so could i just face Ginkasa?

Nope, you have to find a computer at your destination and play him on your vacation. That or face immediate disqualification.

Well, even if you did play Ginkasa right now, you would have to wait until all hte other matches are done to figure out your next oppenent (same for hte final round). And I highly doubt we'll finish this tourney in the next four days. So I guess it's hard luck for you. Find a computer where you're going or face elimination by default.

CD-R is back and im ready to play checkers anytime.

Well... Its seems that CD-R/DVD-R was banned again so... Play Gimpy?

Yes. Please take him out of the bracket.

CD-R is gone. Apparently, he was banned for making a lot of screennames.... Gimpy and Ginkasa can play if you haven't already.

thats not true, it was a close game.... oh well, in the future rounds, since i'm leaving soon, if i can't attend, i'm letting Ginkasa take my place, i'll post here when the time comes

It was really a waiting game... Neither of us could make appropriate contact for a couple hours while we were both online. Then, when we were both at Pogo, neither of us could load the Checkers board. After moving to Playsite, GameMaster got continuously disconnected until he decided to concede.

If he wants, he can confirm this through post.
