yea, but couple things bug me bout Doom3. From what i hear its a one time experience type game. you can beat it in the first weekend.
And the Multiplayer sounds like its just going to be a tacked on thing, because thier main focus is single player.

Half-Life 2 by FAR impresses me way more. The lighting and shadows are better in Doom3, but the Phisics in HL2 are absolutly amazing. everything so interactable. and i find the Textures look better in HL2 (but that also could just be cuz Doom3 is set in the dark)

Anywho, did you happen to see the leaked Quake4 pics when they had them up for the short time? they were forced to take them down, but i hear they look amazingly good. it runs on the DOOM3 engine so it should have all the lighting effects too.

as i do with most games SC, i recommend it for PC. only because with the PC you can get so much more for it. downloads. extra gameplay mods. etc.

and more then likely its the same

(I made an exception on KotOR since it's got a few months jump, and it's one player.)

Considering I've only got a PS2 and a budget to watch:

- FFXI
- GT4
- MGS3
- The "Chrono 3/Suikoden 4" combo that Crono mentioned.

*eye twitches* Attack of the killer Online Rates.

Ah yes, and I hope a friend of mine purchases the F Zero Game... must... play.

It will. The Japanese version has a feee equivelant to $10 US per month, or so I've read.

yea, FFXI will have the monthly fee on both PC and PS2.

neat tho that PS2 players can play online against the PC players.

That may very well be true, but its being published by SCEA in North Amercia, and they have promised that their published online games won't have any online fees.

pc looks better, runs smoother. more options, downloads, extra's roster updates.

Plus PC version can play online. :p

It looks like my brother is going to get Pokemon Colloseum for Christmas, and I'm pushing for his second game to be F-zero. But, I'm renting it tomorrow anyways, to see if I like it or not.

oh and for PS2: True Crime, this game looks AMAZING, think the best parts from GTA mixed with the best parts of Enter the Matrix mixed with a decent storyline, oh and add in a ****load of new stuff and you have this game.
