Er I'm about 90% sure I spelled the game's title wrong, but eh.

Anyhow, this is a pretty cool trailer and shows off a lot of the game including some of the cutscenes.

I can see they brought in some of the oldschool battle music and remixed it. Freakin awesome!

And not only that, they made skills like the Chrono Trigger style double techs.

I can't believe how awesome this game is.

Wow, I am REALLY impressed. I guess I need to read up on the story more. That's always the most important part of an RPG for me.

But yeah, fricken awesome.

The voices for the characters in that preview annoyed the hell out of me.

I agree. Japanese voice acting annoys me a lot. No offense to any Japanese here.

It's the fact that they yell everything. Why do they do that?

Tales Of Symphonia is going to be awesome. One of the best RPGs on GCN for sure. I can't wait.

The game has been in development for 3 years now.
Japan gets the game by the end of next month.

When it releases in Japan, I'll give you guys some good info.

I cant view those...I can get the sound but no video...it acts like I dont have the right codec or something...but I have the option to automatically download codec's enabled...*shrugs*

That game looks really impressive. So many rpg's are coming out, I hope I have enough time to play them all.

I thought I'd bring this back instead of creating a new thread. Has anyone actually played through this game yet? I'm thinking I want it but I don't want to invest the time if it blows.

Yeah, I beat it. Then sold it. It wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be.

35 hours. Expect a light RPG with a huge emphasis on combat. It's comical, a little bland in terms of visuals, but its pretty fun.

The Combat reminds me a lot of Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast. That game way way ahead of its time, combat wise.

I just bought it tonight. Been playing for a few hours and it's awesome. Go for it, you can't go wrong.

It's at least 35 hours like darkmaster said but I think it will take me much longer. They say it's an 80 hour game.

I heard it was 60 hours or so. Regardless, I'm about 45-50 hours through the game, I've had it for ages lol, and if you don't like lots of puzzles, I don't really recommend it haha. I hate puzzle games, so I get frusterated with it. However, if you like storyline, definately go for it. Some of the diologue is a bit on the childish side, but for the most part, the plot is freaking awsome. My favorite character is Kratos. He has a really cool secret... ;) Anyways, I'd give it a 7/10, only because I hate puzzles, but the game itself is really freaking awsome.

Actually, that's not the secret I was talking about, so I wouldn't be mad if I were you. As far as I know, he is NOT a she. But hey, I haven't beaten it yet, so... you never know... haha
