Nominations for Villians and Heros
 

After seeing the list of the 50 Greatest Heros and Villians of movies, I thought it would be interesting to make one for videogames. Since I have neither the time nor patience to actually do 50 for each, I decided to cut it to about 25 (the final number isn't settled on yet), but since I know I haven't played every game and may list will be a tad partial. I figured I would have people nominate characters. After that their will be a final tally, and the list shall be compiled from that. You can nominate as many people as you like, but just don't do too many.

And the fat New Yorker known as Mario is only considered a hero because of all the little kiddies who want to grow up to be like him. And Bowser is only a villain because he kidnapped someone. I hate poor story lines... lousy Nintendo franchises.

And I forgot another villain. Yuber from the Suikoden series. I love how he takes out his 2 blades and kicks everyone's ass. He's a very mysterious character too.

He's actually much cooler in Suikoden I and II. Then he has his black armor. Oh yeah... and Pesmerga too! Gah, that guy was the best.

Sephiroth is probably the most evil villian i have ever seen in a game. Squall is probably the best hero.

How is Sephiroth even that evil? I think the whole "I wanna take over/destroy the world*" is too easy to do, and overdone... That's why I picked some of the less-obvious villains... I think a lot of people just pick villains because they're in games they really like, or really popular memorable games... Like Bowser... :unsure: I guess it all just boils down to opinions though... And it's not even a big deal in the first place :p

I picked Sephiroth because he stabs Aeris.

And Wesker stabs his 'teammates' in the back... And uses human guinea pigs for crazy experiments (against their will)...

Kain basically almost wiped out and enslaved the human race... And threw one of his 6 lieutenants into the lake of lost souls just because he grew wings before him... And in his earlier days he'd pretty much go around killing anything in his path...

I sound like a total dork but I don't care... I like villains :D

And not just ones that look cool and kill some flower girl that some fans were waaaaay too attached to :sneaky:

I thought it was funny how Alfred and Alexia used their grandfather in an experiment :D

I like how Alfred dressed and acted like a woman... Even when he wasn't pretending to be Alexia

You want evil? The Prime Evils are the only true evils.

I'm sorry, but a little experiment that just wants to find his "mommy" isn't anywhere near as evil as the root of all destruction, hatred, or fear. Even if he DID stab a girl that had zero character.

Yes the Diablo doods are quite evil... That's a given...

Talking about Sephiroth. I didn't feel much remorse when Aeris died. There wasn't enough character development.

It's kinda like the little kid in Suikoden III. Why, I don't even remember his name. In all the other Suikodens, however... the "death(s)" was much more emotional.

The undead from Warcraft are evil. I forget their names, but the big fat guy with the 2 edged blade.
