The Matrix "spoilers"
I SAW THE MATRIX AND IT WAS GREAT. SEEING THIS ONE REALLY MAKE'S ME WANT TO SEE THE THIRD ONE AND IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE YOU KNOW WHY. IT'S KIND OF HARD TO EXPLAIN YOU REALLY JUST HAVE TO SEE IT. I KNEW THE ENDING WAS GOING TO BE A CLIFFHANGER, THEY JUST PUT UP TO BE CONCLUDED. GREAT MOVIE YOU MUST SEE IT. OH YEAH THERE WERE 5 ZIONS BEFORE THE FIRST ONE AND 5 OTHER PEOPLE LIKE NEO, OR AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT THIS OLD GUY SAID BUT I DONT REALLY KNOW IF THAT PART WAS TRUE BECAUSE THE GUY IN WHITE ALSO SAID THAT THE DOOR ON THE LEFT WOULD KILL ALL THE HUMANS AND THAT HE COULD NOT SAVE TRINITY BUT IT DID NOT KILL ALL THE HUMANS AND HE DID SAVE TRINITY SO IM KIND OF CONFUSED.
|
although I read nothing you said, stop with all the CAPS o_O
|
I'm seeing Matrix tommorrow.
|
****SPOILERS****
******I REPEAT, IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT, YOU'D BE BETTER OFF SEEIN THE MOVIE****** just out of curiosity....on whos side was the creator on?? it was weird because if the matrix was restarted...than that means that in the real world, zion would have to be restored to its original position....or something. And another thing, how the hell did neo take out that sentinal at the end? btw, the whole sky-scraper-out-the-window-jump-by-trinity- thing was awsome!!! |
**SPOILERS**
My friend and I saw it and...about Neo stopping the sentinals...my friend said that maybe the "real world" was also controlled just like the matrix..it was wierd...I'll have to watch the movie again. I was also confused as to the point of the dude that they showed at the end was. I mean, I just wasn't paying attention to the scenes that he was in during the beginning of the movie. |

He said the door on the left would save Trinity and kill all humans and the door on the right would do exactly the opposite. Zebra, the man you are speaking of is an agent in a humans body. An agent answered the phone when it was ringing and he entered the mans body...I think. |
mechadragon's right.... well i'm gonna hafta watch this movie AT LEAST 3 more times b4 i get it completely and i'm looking forward 2 it
|
Oh damn, I forgot that's what the dude looked like after the agent changed into him. Thanks Mecha.

Matrix Revolutions Teaser http://www.movie-list.net/mlst2k2/ma...evolutions.mpg |
*SPOILERS*
Oh my god, what a brain-twisting movie. My belief is that the last 5 times have been predictable to the machines, but this Neo is special because he loves Trinity and the others loved humanity more. I also think that the "real world" must be another matrix controlled by something else, maybe to control the machines??? I don't know, but that would explain how Smith got out, because it is still a computer world. Maybe both Smith and Neo are in the world outside this "other matrix." and that is why they have such a weird connection. Oh, I want to see Revolutions right now to find out!!!! BTW, the burly brawl with all the many Smiths is the craziest and best fight scene ever!!! Sorry Yoda, Neo is too hot for you.:D |
Possible spoiler alert...
... ... I feel that for Zion to have been destroyed 5 times, that it is also a fake. Col. Sanders said it, basically... they had to keep changing the Matrix. The first Matrix was happy shiny, and nobody believed it. The second Matrix was a mimic of the real world, but somehow... it wasn't perfect. So, perhaps the third Matrix includes an imaginary escape. At least then the humans would have hope... continuing to stay in and not find a true escape. Thinking that Zion was a part of the "real" world, and that Neo and others really did escape the Matrix... the humans end up fighting in the wrong direction. That is what would make the Matrix perfect. Sound about right? |
*SPOILERS*
I thought because Neo chose the path to save the gf (not to save the world) the matrix was stuffed and expected Neo to die at the end. Therefore that other guy at the end of the movie is the next "Neo" so to speak. BEcause Neo ain't dead, then there is a glitch, so Neo and "the next Neo" (the guy with the goatee) will face it off. My 2 cents, dunno though. |

Smith got out of the matrix because in the first movie, Neo entered his body and destroyed him. But, when Neo went inside of him, he left some sort of encyrpted code (a special code that the One has) and this code "freed" agent smith. Now smith is like a human, he can go in and out of the matrix, and he can walk around in the real world. If you pay closer attention to all the things that the Matrix creator said, you'd have learned this: "the One is a program of the matrix, used as a backup for when the Matrix restarts. The One will choose 15 (i think it was 15) people, 8 men and 7 women (might not be the right numbers) and these people will start the new human race. You see, Neo has to leave his special code in these people, just like he did with smith (so technically, smith is now one of the next human race). The matrix has to restart because the machines are finding new ways to keep themselves powered. So, just like Neo said at the end of the movie "the prophesy is a lie". Neo is not a savior, hes a tool of the matrix. At least that's what I managed to figure out in the movie. Also, if you had stayed in the theaters until after the credits were over, you would see the secret Matrix: Revolutions trailer. That also cleared a few things up for me pertaining to the storyline. Great movie :) (btw, you know that annoying kid that follows Neo around and claims that Neo saved him from the Matrix? You're probably wondering "when the hell did that happen?". Remember, to understand the entire story of the Matrix, you must also watch the the Animatrix, as well as play the video game Enter the Matrix). |
wow... DarkMasters right
**SPOILER** i think that maybe the humans are actually the machines....and its all just mest up and the creater is playin all of them IMHO |

I thought that the other ships EMP emitter stopped the sentinels that were going for Neo. I don't know. I do know that the sex scene was unessecarialy long. I don't want to see the people of Zion having an orge. I thought the music kicked butt (throughout the whole film). |
Not really a spoiler(has nothing to do with the plot).
When that girl ate the chocolate cake. Did she pee herself? I wasn't paying much attention. |
Just saw it this afternoon, I thought it was awesome.

some of you are trying to read WAY too into these things. simplest solution is often the correct one.
some of these theories and stuff are just WAY out there. BTW, you didnt have to stay in the theatre to see the preview for the next one, i already posted it above. |
Who here thinks Neo secretly enjoyed that little session with the French lady? :D

So everyone liked it?
Hmmm... Me personnally, I wasn't entirely impressed. The special effects were cool, but the fights got derivitive, the orgy was stupid and too long, it didn't flow well, it did not fittingly follow what was laid out by the first one, and Morpheus sucked. BTW, I loved the first one, so this was all that much more dissapointing considering I had high expectations going in. |
I saw it last night, and it was a good movie. The beginning third was a bit slow, like all of the stuff in Zion, but I guess they needed that to push the plot over.
The fight with all the Smiths was OK, but some parts were just way too cartoony for me. And I liked those twin ghost guys... What did the oracle say that ghosts were again? Something like watchers of either birds or trees or anything that messed up and showed themselves? And... I liked the keymaster guy, he was kind of funny.. Yep. And that French dude was kind of comical, and very "slimy". The key to the door was supposed to give Neo the chance to save humanity, but I don't get where he got the "24 hours" from at the end of the movie? I thought that since he went to the left door, everybody would die, not he has a window of 24 hours to save it, lol. Please answer my questions, somebody! |

***Major Spoilers*** ARCHITECT: Hello Neo NEO: Who are you ARCHITECT: I am the architect. I created the Matrix. I've been waiting for you. You have many questions and although the process has altered your consciousness you remain irrevocably human. Ergo some of my answers you will understand, and some of them you will not. Concurrently while your first question may be the most pertinent, you may or may not realize it is also the most irrelevant. NEO: Why am I here ARCHITECT: Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality of an anomaly which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably(Not capable of being persuaded by entreaty; relentless)... here. NEO: You haven't answered my question ARCHITECT: Quite right. Interesting. That was quicker than the others. (Multiple screens of Neo talking in background) The matrix is older than you know. I prefer counting from the emergence of one integral anomaly to the emergence of the next, in which case this is the 6th version. [Multiple neo's talking] NEO: There are only two possible explanations. Either no one told me, or no one knows. ARCHITECT: Precisely. As you are undoubtedly gathering the anomaly is systemic. Creating fluctuations in even the most simplistic equations. [Multiple neo's talking] NEO: Choice. The problem is choice. ARCHITECT: The first matrix I designed was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art. Flawless. Sublime. And triumphed equal only by it's monumental failure. The inevitability of it's doom is apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every human being. Thus I redesigned it. Based on your history. To more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of your nature. However, I was again frustrated by failure. I have since come to understand that the answer eluded me because it required a lesser mind. Or perhaps, a mind less bound by the parameters of perfection. Thus the answer was stumbled upon by another. An intuitive program. Initially created to investigate certain aspects of the human psyche. If I am the father of the matrix, she would undoubtedly be it's mother. NEO: The oracle ARCHITECT: Please. As I was saying she stumbled upon a solution where by nearly %99 of all test subjects accepted the program as long as they were given a choice. Even if they were only aware of the choice at a near unconscious level. While this answer functioned it was obviously fundamentally flawed, thus creating the otherwise contradictory, systemic anomaly. That if left unchecked might threaten the system itself. Ergo those who refused the program, while a minority, if unchecked would constitute an escalating probability of disaster. NEO: This is about Zion ARCHITECT: You are here because Zion is about to be destroyed. It's every living inhabitant terminated. It's entire existence eradicated. (Neos onscreen react with anger) ARCHITECT: Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. But rest assured, this will be the 6th time we have destroyed it. And we have become exceedingly efficient at it. [more trinity fight scene] ARCHITECT: The function of 'the one' is now to return the source allowing a temporary dissemination(diffusion for propagation and permanence; a scattering or spreading abroad, as of ideas, beliefs, etc.) of the code you carry re-inserting the prime program. After which you will be required to select from the matrix 23 individuals. Sixteen female, seven male to rebuild Zion. Failure to comply with this process will result in a cataclysmic system crash killing everyone connected to the matrix. Which coupled with the extermination of Zion will ultimately result in the extinction of the entire human race NEO: You won't let it happen, you can't. You need human beings to survive ARCHITECT: There are levels of survival we are prepared to accept. However the relevant issue is whether or not you are ready to accept the responsibility for the death of every human being in this world. It is interesting reading your reactions. Your five predecessors were by design based on a similar predication, a contingent affirmation (contingent affirmation = possible to be true. Check dictionary.com ) that was meant to create a profound attachment to the rest of your species facilitating the function of 'the one'. While the others experienced this in a very general way, your experience is far more specific. (?) Love. NEO: Trinity ARCHITECT: (?) She entered the matrix to save your life at the cost of her own. NEO: No... ARCHITECT: Which brings us at last to the moment of truth wherein the fundamental flaw is ultimately expressed and the anomaly revealed as both beginning and end. There are two doors. The door to your right leads to the source and the salvation of Zion. The door to your left leads to back to the matrix, to her and to the end of your species. As you adequately put, the problem is choice. But we already know what you are going to do don't we. Already I can see the chain reaction. The chemical precursors(indications) that signal the onset of an emotion. Designed specifically to overwhelm logic and reason. An emotion that is already blinding you from the simple and obvious truth; she is going to die and there is nothing you can do to stop it. [Neo walks to door on his left] ARCHITECT: Hope. It is the quintessential(the most typical) human delusion simultaneously the source of your greatest strength and your greatest weakness. NEO: If I were you, I would hope that we don't meet again. ARCHITECT: We won't. |
That's cool, where'd you get that script?
|
I found it on another forum. the guy who posted it wouldnt say where he got it.
|
I just saw the movie. That was the best movie I've seen for a long time. I'm probably going to be seeing it 2 or 3 times more.
|
i just saw it again...and umm....wow... i still am just as confused as b4
btw, props for mentioning the Osirus in reloaded :) |
***SPOILERS*** (Not really, but just so people don't get angry)
Well, I just got done seeing it. Great movie. But I see no point in trying to predict what has happened or will happen. It's probably better to just wait for Revolutions. Some of you may not know this though: Morpheus = The Father Neo = Jesus Christ Trinity = Holy Spirit Now, keeping this in mind. If you want to know what I think will happen is that there will be an apocalyptic battle in which good will win over evil. In Revolutions that is. |
:hmm:
ooooooooook, do u know this from a credible source or are you just speculating? |
The movie is partly based on biblical stories. I know it to be true and I've read it from several reliable sources.
|
This is my conclusion from the movie. ::SPOILERS::
The architech (guy that created the matrix along w/ the oracle), well he said that this was the 6th matrix that he had created. And the one was someone that always came about to finish off the matrix and destroy it so that a new one would be created. this way people didn't start completely not believing in it. Well Neo ended up believing in his love so much that nothing else mattered and he completely realizedt hat the matrix was a fake. Well remember how the architect said that Zion was destroyed everytime and a new matrix was created, well the only thing I can think of is that he sent 5 people including hte one back to re created zion and start saving people from the new matrix thinking zion was real. Well zion is like a fire wall for the matrix. an alternate reality outside of hte matrix so that people will be content w/ what they have and not want to get out in the real world. The reason that neo could "feel" the centinals and stop them just like real bullets in the matrix is b/c he realized that Zion was fake also. Another reason why Smith was able to take over that person and stay w/ him when he was taken into zion. So I think the last movie is going to be about Neo coming out of Zion and starting to save the people in the real world. so pretty much all of what we have seen in the matrix and outside of it is all programs. OH btw how awesome was the computer program that gave that girl an orgasm? haha |

I would say that you are not far from the truth. (actually I think the creator of the matrix would be better suited to "The Father", where as Morpheus is more like a well wisher keeping the faith). The subtitles for the Matrix: Reloaded and the Matrix: Revolutions aren't there for nothing. In Reloaded, the story is about the Matrix restarting, and in Revolutions, the story will no doubt be about something regarding a revolution (or something related to it, for that matter.) Also, I urge you people to play through Enter the Matrix, is explains quite a bit about the storyline (not to mention exclusive footage filmed only for the game). |
My friends and I have come up with a Matrix within a Matrix theory. Where the "real world" is actually another Matrix. This would be (in some peoples opinions) a more simplistic way of explaining Neo's powers at the end of the movie.
However, a more theological approach to the situation, would be that Neo was granted such powers in the real world so as to battle his greatest adversary Agent Smith. I think what some of you aren't realizing (and I haven't come to fully comprehend because I don't remember every aspect of the film), is that when agent smith copied himself into that man's body (when they were trying to escape with the message from the Oracle), and then was taken out of the Matrix, Agent Smith's ego, or at least a copy of it, was also taken out of the Matrix. It manifested itself in the human body of the person it copied itself into. What I don't understand is the guy hooked up to the machine next to Neo at the end of the movie. Did anybody else notice what he etched into his hand when he tried to kill Neo? A Roman Numeral two. Which could be indicative that there is not only a "One", but a "Two". I think it was confirmed in an interview with the brothers that there would be a "two". However that design he etched in his hand could have been something else that I didn't think of. Just a suggestion. Oh well. I think I've milked about all I can out of the movie for only have gone to it twice. I'l have to go see it again. |
What I don't understand is why everyone in the Matrix will die if Neo chooses the wrong door.
|
I believe it was the choice the Architect gave him. He could've saved the human race but let Trinity die or have the whole human specie not exist nemore. I'm really not clear on it though. His love for Trinity was so strong he risked killing the human specie so he could save Trinity.
I'm still not understanding the Architect. Did he have more of a motive than creating the Matrix world. |
Quote:
I think that is what happened... Or maybe the machines didn't reach Zion, but like a defense station or something. |
It couldn't have been Zion. I thought the hospital was in Zion. :p
