http://gametavern.net/e3pictures Game Summary In the hallways, labs and chambers of a shadowy compound, an unseen power is lurking. As a ghostly Spectral Operative, players must search for a physical body, which is mysteriously being kept alive somewhere in the enormous complex. Players won't always be alone though--as they explore, they must collect the energies of indigenous spirits to help unravel a mystery and build their own power. Some will help ... but beware, for not all the spirits are friendly. Prepare for a first-person adventure with a spectral twist! Features Explore the compound as a ghost, then possess more than a dozen unique character types using their weapons, equipment, skills, and even memories, to complete your goals. Possessions range from soldiers with guns to dog- and mouse-like creatures that can perform specialized physical tasks. Choose different characters and see the world in different ways. Travel through the human world virtually unseen, using your abilities to slip through cracks, interfere with electronics, move objects and more. Face challenges from two unique angles--as a possessed human or a lurking spirit hunting its prey. Prepare for death matches with the dead in all-new multiplayer modes that combine first-person combat with unique ghost and possession mechanics. |

oh, you are serious? ;) I think they should have waited to show this game... that screen isn't that great imo. |

That game looks pretty nice. But I think Halo 2 is in a league of its own, as far as graphics go. |
I personally think this game looks like crap,I don't know why, but that's the first thing I thought when I saw the footage.
|
Reminds me a lot of PD. I didn't like PD.
|
ok so maybe this shot looks a little like the ORIGINAL star fox, but..........

Nice landscape:rolleyes:
looks like ass. |
Ill give it a chance, its in development still
|
Just so we're all on the same page with this whole halo killer thing.
geist ![]() Halo 2 ![]() geist ![]() Halo 2 ![]() geist ![]() Halo 2 ![]() geist ![]() Halo 2 ![]() Questions? |
yeah, what is geist again?
|
hey no fair, he said HALO not HALO2! but it was funny anyway... i just don't like that targeting crosshair thing, other than that it looks ok... screenshots are so misleading anyway, the awesome ones never look that good live, and the crap ones always look better
|
The backgrounds look a bit... er, unimpressive in that Halo 2 screenshot. All the backgrounds in the Halo 2 screens seem to have that flat, perfect dark look to them, but just in higher res. and some more details (I heard they were going to implement some sort of blur effect, similar to that in Mario Sunshine and Zelda, it would actually look pretty nice). RS3 looks better IMO. Then again, I haven't downloaded the video 80+ MB video of Halo 2 , plus it's still in development. I have no doubts it will look pretty damn eye pleasing come it's release, but as of now, RS3 has it beat in the graphics department, again, IMO.
Also, the Halo killer statements was a bit... ah nevermind. Everyone seems to be throwing about the Zelda and Mario killer sh!t like some cheap tart. :D |
I sure hope N-space knows what they are going up against
no not halo2..but the millions and millions of rabid FPS critics that want to see this game fail or pull out the Ye all mighty hand book of FPS law. |

This game looks like the 'answer to Perfect Dark' that Nintendo desperately needs... TimeSplitters 2 just isn't... good enough. And not exclusive. :) |
Yes it looks a lot like PD.
|
I never liked Perfect Dark. I just never thought it was that much fun. I thought Rare did A LOT better job on Goldeneye. That was a masterpiece
|
Somehow I didn't like the PD controls as much as GE's. Aiming at enemies was a lot more fun in GE. GE also had nicer levels. But Perfect Dark had better enemies and more gadgets and weapons. Plus a cool storyline and (decent) voice-acting. :) Best of all: the multiplayer with bots. But I still miss the bunker level from GE...
Too bad my friends never wanna play GE anymore, it's just PD, WC98, ExciteBike 64 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. |
PD took goldeneye's gameplay and improved on it, it took GE's multi-play and improved on it a HELL of a lot, and it took GE's weapons and added a whole lot more.... the only thing that was arguably worse in PD was it's Story mode.

OK! So I just saw the video for this game and it looked interesting. I don't think the graphics are in the level of Halo 2 (even though all I have seen of Halo 2 are screenshots) but they were nice none the less. And isn't this game the one that's being developed by the producer of GE and PD? If so... no wonder why it looks so much like them.
|
No i heard this game is in production by a company called N-Space. The company i think your talking about is Zoonami which is responsible for "GameZero". BTW does anyone konw what link zoonami have with nintendo, are they first, second or third party.

...... Oh wait, Geist can't even do that. Halo ![]() Geist ![]() Halo ![]() Geist ![]() Halo ![]() Geist ![]() Halo ![]() Geist ![]() (to be fair, I don't know when exactly Geist is coming, but we can safely assume it's late 03' at the earilest which will put it only a few months ahead of Halo 2) Oh go right ahead and bitch. "That's just graphics it's gameplay that counts!" Shut Up. Of course it's gameplay that counts, and Halo's gameplay still stomps on just about everything else yet to come down the pipe. **dons flame retardant suit |
Hmm sometimes I think Stoney does stuff to get flamed, but it seems no one takes his bait...
Anyhow, I just watched a video for the game, I mean it's not the world's greatest graphical achievement, but I have to say the concept looks very very interesting. First off, it seems like well I don't quite know how to explain it, but it seems like you can't die, it seems like if you are in human form and are killed, you return to your prior spirit form which will lead to some interesting gameplay aspect as well as controlling different humans. maybe some are fat thus move slower while others are fast but not as strong. You would have to possess the right body at the right time I guess. Also, it seems like even though you can do lots of stuff in ghost form, you will need to possess a human to do certain puzzles such as when he possess the computer lady in order to get pass the scanning portion. If they can expand on the unique elements, I don't think it essentially have to go toe-to-toe with other games, but that's just me. |
Re: GEEEIIIISSSTTT New FPS

Re: GEEEIIIISSSTTT New FPS
Ehm well that's actyally a AGB screen! :sneaky:
Not too bad if you ask me! :D |
Re: GEEEIIIISSSTTT New FPS
have to keep in mind that this thing was no where near completion when these shots were taken, you can tell by the wall geometry here... just plain blows. there is no way that'll look like that when it's done... besides, its in conjunction with nintendo, so it should be damn good.

Re: GEEEIIIISSSTTT New FPS
Ive been excited for this game since E3. The videos at IGN are much better than the screens. Given it needs work, but it will have had a lot of work done by the time its released.
