Crash 04-24-2003 02:11 AM

I just installed

power windows into my car, which previously didn't have any power windows... i tell ya it is cool to be able to roll down the window without swerving off the highway reaching over the seat!

DimHalo 04-24-2003 02:27 AM

jealousy rising

TheGame 04-24-2003 02:29 AM

How much did it cost... anything more than $150 wouldn't be worth it to me :D

DeathsHand 04-24-2003 02:56 AM

My dad always complains about power windows because they get screwed up too easily and stop working... *shrugs*

Stonecutter 04-24-2003 03:18 AM

Ehh, power has it's disadvantages too. Say you're parked waiting for somebody, you want to open the window, you've got to start the car or at least run the battery just to be able to take your windows down.

Good point..............

Well that's good Crash! I would have them if they came wif my car, but I like to make excuses up why I don't like auto windows such as ......

When they stuff up, they stuff up ;)

Shadow_Link 04-24-2003 09:12 AM

They came standard in mine :D.

Mine haven't stuffed up yet, neither has antthing else that's electrical, like the wing mirrors, seats or sun roof.

It must be a thing with American cars :D.

(What car do you have?)

GameKinG 04-24-2003 10:15 AM

Bah. Turning on the battery isnt a hassle.

Dyne 04-24-2003 12:25 PM

I recall the time my car's back window was broken, and it was so damn cold, and we couldnt close it. We were on vacation, and we had to quit early, so we drove back across British Columbia to get it fixed. Turns out we all got ear infections, too. Man, bad times.

Joeiss 04-24-2003 03:11 PM

They came with my car... So yep.

GameMaster 04-24-2003 08:32 PM

My bicycle has a plastic wind shield.

I believe your infriging on Ginkasa's copyrighted phrase. I'd edit that before you find yourself in court.

GameKinG 04-25-2003 12:06 AM

Every car my fam. has owned has had standard power windows.

*shrugs and walks away*

Happydude 04-25-2003 12:12 AM

DimHalo 04-25-2003 01:49 AM

Mecha *shrugs and walks away*

GameMaster 04-25-2003 02:07 AM

Ginkasa is really not going to be happy about this.

Stonecutter 04-25-2003 02:43 AM

Maybe he will, maybe he won't.

GameKinG 04-25-2003 10:17 AM

Its not a very good joke...

Shadow_Link 04-25-2003 11:56 AM

For some odd reason, I don't think he was joking

;)

Perfect Stu 04-25-2003 01:08 PM

It's been a while since I've been in a car that didn't have power windows...

But yeah, they're cool...I guess.

PS - What vehicle does everyone drive?

I drive both my family's vehicles (Camry, Pontiac Montana [awesome mini-van]) and when I'm lucky, my ex gf's (family's) '02 Mustang GT

Joeiss 04-25-2003 04:09 PM

1996 Nissan Maxima... Its a powerhouse... I love it.

GameKinG 04-25-2003 10:28 PM

Mustangs are cool. I like the 2005 look. Though it could use a few more lines.

DimHalo 04-26-2003 02:21 PM

i drive a 2001 Kia Rio (the Micro Machine). But my dream car is a classic Mustang Convertible. (i don't like the new ones as much)

Happydude 04-26-2003 11:15 PM

i dont drive anything...yet...but when i do get around to get off my lazy ass and get a liscence ill be driving a '89 Chevrolet Beretta...2 door, Sports GT...it has a new engine...so i reckon i like it :)

Blackmane 04-30-2003 10:42 AM

I need a car....

Cyrax9 05-02-2003 04:20 AM

Heh, I'm gonna make Crash a little angry:

1989 Buick Century Custom (Not worth gloating about but still better than whatever Crash was driving):

- Power Windows

- Power Locks

- Power Steering

- Power Seats (That';s right I slap a button and the seat reclines)

- V6 Engine Eath that crappy Mazda 626!!)

- Fuel_Injection Syste (As opposed to crappy Carboeurators)

- Four Canner

- Bench Seats a Maximum of 6 people.

- AM/FM Radioo and Cassette Deck with better Reception than
most modern cars.

- Lower Milage than my Parents 1998 VW Passat and 1990 Mazda 626 (Answer my prayers steal the MAZDA!! DOn;'t worry i won't getcha too fa rand I'll leave the keys in the ignition and the windows down for ya!)

- Automatic Transmission, (No need to shift, it's not a Tank after all)

- Blue Interoir and Exterior'

Oh and I got i for free from my Grandmother, just ahve to pay insurance on it and the usual fees.

As far as the Mazda goes, give me the anme fo a Demoliton Derby I cna "Donate" it too, videoltape it getting smacked up and send me the tape so I cna watch thatc ar being torn apart peice by peice. I hate that thing an I'd rather be riding in a FOIRD (Fixed or Repaired Daily) than a Mazda that looks like Godzilla kicked it into a pile of mud.

I'll be enjoying my Buick and by the time Crash gets power locks I'll ahve a CD Changer installed in the buick, and I'll have found a use for the mazda, like shrapnel to eb loaded int gernades to be sent to US Troops that may land in North KOrea, the Japanese Hate 'em, we hate 'em, let's puit our minds otgether and ditch this car adn some nutty commies at the same time.

With that said, enjoy your power Windows Crash, although I'll be enjoying my Air Conditoner and if I cna get 'em, seat-warmers in the uick very soon, this way I'l have warm buns in the wnterand a cool face in the sumer, as far as swerving off the road gioes, you should try ths th9ng called 'Cruise Control", the Buick has that too, and I'm surpised someone with your tastes hasn't got a better car.
