Tingle's Sexuality
 

Now, several questions may arise regarding Tingle's appearance. First of all... he is a grown man and is dressed as a fairy. And his appearance may also make you wonder about his sexuality. Now, Nintendo has never denied nor confirmed that Tingle is gay. So I thought we should have our own poll, deciding whether Tingle is a homosexual or a heterosexual.

I don't think his constant rantings about him being one with the fairies qualifies him as being hetero or homo..

Although he acts like a homo...*sighs* I hope on the inside he isnt...

Hes gotta be a Homo...what kind of grown man dresses like that? And look at that speedo...thats got homosexual written all over it.

Speaking of Tingle, has anyone tried out the tingle tuner? My brother and I fooled around with it today, its pretty neat, We plan on using it a lot during the second quest. You can really do more than you might think if your the player controling the GBA...We messed around with it at Windfall Island, and it will point things out, tell you the name of shops...you can get the time...and you can see where you are on the GBA screen as well as the big screen...its quite neat.

Other: He is so isolated from people that he has slim understanding of this sexuality. Hes not even sure was link is, and secretly wants to murder him as well as many others. Dont turn your back on the tingle bomb!

I'm gonna have to say homosexual. Those damn red "shorts" he has over his green "pants" are giving it away. But then again, he's wearing that clock thing maybe trying to become a pimp?:confused:. But I got him out of the Jail a while ago and his walk and his appearance seemed totally homosexual to me.:unsure:

Ok, tingle is definatly hetro. He's really effiminate because he's around all the fairy queens and other faries, but think about it, he's surrounded by *****. It's easy to lay of the manlyness when there's so much fairy tail around you.

I think he is straight.

I saw him go down on one of the female faries in OOT.

Why does Bond want to know Tingle's sexuality neways? Planning on switching sides? :p ;)

He's a homo. Anyway, did any of you see that guy on Windfall Island that is dancing, and he looks like a disco dude, but there is a rainbow on the back of his suit and it has purple strips on it. My friend and I saw this and I was like WTF ARE THEY SMOKING. WHAT IS IT WITH ZELDA AND THEIR SEXUAL INUENDOS!!! The carpenter workers in OoT, they just look and walk gay. Tingle..., then there is Dampe's diary when you are about to get the hookshot, I can't remember exactly what it says but it relates to how the hookshot is similar to a dick........And well there are more but I can't think of them.

After reading that, I realize that Nintendo does do it a lot more often with "going around the bush" on innuendos. All I have to say is "Nintendo's hidden subliminal messages":sneaky:

I think he's straight because hey, let's not all forget, Link is a little fairy boy too, but I don't hear people questioning his sexuality. Oh, just because Tingle doesn't carry a sword and save the day, he's gay right? Ridiculous.

At the end of the day Link gets the girl besides Link acts alot more manly. :D

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHh I had my tingle tuner on and I was reading what tingle was saying and he said "I.....I love you" It was like WTF...it was really messed up. I think I'm going to lock myself in my cage......

Actually, one of the secrets of the Tingle Tuner is to find out the history of Tingle (though I'm not disputing his sexuality).

It is said that long ago, a boy garbed in green known as the Hero of Time saved this land. However, on a certain island, there is also the story of the fairy who saved that hero.

It is said that the Hero of Time met the fairy in the midst of his travels. The fairy appeared before the Hero, who had found himself lost in darkness. With a mystic power, it would float in midair, dancing above his head like a burst balloon.

The little-known Legend of the Fairy's 35th Birthday: On one island they celebrate one's 35th birthday with a green coat and red pants. They do this in the hopes of becoming like the legendary fairy, Tingle.
