Sonic Advance
 

gets a 9.1 from IGN. Anyone get a copy yet? I might look for it this afternoon. I've heard it's true to its roots, though a little easy.


Edit: Got it now. Words can't describe how much better this game is than the Game Gear versions. Nice solid framerates, even when Sonic is running full speed.

I had a whole bunch of the Game Gear versions...they made a load of sonic games for it...but I sold my Game Gear and all the games about a year ago...It had some good games, BTW...I might get it eventually, but for now its Super Mario Advance 2 for me.

I will probably pick this game up in the summer. I don't want to spend more money on myself because I will be getting SMA2 when it is released.

Though, this game looks very good. And I am happy to hear that there is a solid framerate, too.

I saw the videos at Gamespot, it looks pretty damn fun

Are chaos emeralds still hard to find, or is it like Sonic 2/3?

I have all of the Sonic games on the Game Gear. Don't know if I will get it for the GBA.

I bought Sonic Advance yesterday...sweet game...I've beaten about 5 levels, methinks...

I'm really excited!! I don't have the cash for it now, but I've ALWAYS loved sonic games, but never have a sega system. Sounds great!

I bought it last night but I haven't played it all that much. But what I have played as been pretty good.

Anyways... I bought Smackdown 3 instead.. so I think i'm gonna pick up SA.. maybe monday or whenever i feel like it..

I don't plan to get this for some time, I am going to get Mario Advance much sooner, maybe even this week. :D

Picked it up today. Good game, though a bit short. Got up to final zone in a little over an hour. Still didn't beat that yet. The character animation is great, especially Knuckles' winning poses. Amy is a bit of an oddball character to use. She can't do superspeed nor turn into a ball when she jumps. You have to time the hammer when going to destory an enemy. It's powerful though and she can jump higher than everyone else.

The Chao Garden is a very simple little place. And my chao, Rock, has some mental problems methinks. Talks about getting a job and asks how fireworks are made.

I'm a Sonic fan so I'll be definately gettin this one. :D

Beat it

In a strange turn of events, I now own Sonic Advance. I like it. I wouldnt say I love it, but its good. I just wished they included more tunes from the origional Sonic the Hedgehog. I like the music that plays when you become invinceible, thats cool.

Beat game with all four characters...

Get Sonic Adventure 2 for DC or GCN. You won't be able to get the 180 emblems even if you play for a year.

If your the right type of person you'll be comin back to this game everyday things that it got the best of you.
