First System
Okay, so here's my question, well, actually, it's a two-fold:
What's the first system you have ever played, and what's the earliest system you've ever played?? Just wondering! |
Atari 2600
NES...
NES
NES.
My cousin used to have an Atari 2600, but I never really played it. NES for me I suppouse.
NES
Atari 2600
Nintendo Entertainment System. *puts on power glove*
First I ever played... Atari... first owned, intelvision (somthing like that) and first owned at an age where I could really beat a game NES
NES...
*shrugs and walks away* |
NES
NES, and teh P0ng! That thing was such a piece, but it was a pong machine :)
NES
Atari 2600
NES, Duckhunt was sweet!
NES
It came with Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt. |
Okay, come on, cut it with the one word answers...like elaborate.. or something... games... atari's... memories, beautiful memories!
okay, okay, Ms. Moderator. :p
I remember playing all the Ninja Turtle Games on the NES! Along with all the Marios! Those were great days. *runs from Kitana* |
Atari 2600 at my friend's house.
Then I owned a Nes.......man the memories!! :D |
my dad had an atari 2600 and a colecovision. I don't rembember which one I played first. I absolutly LOVED burgertime for the coleco and barnstorming for the 2600.
first system I ever owned was the NES with the mario/duckhunt cart. |

Can't remeber which was first coleco or intelivision...others are a Radio Shack system(all games were a version of pong), and Atari 800 XL.
ah the good old days...:p |
Atari 2600, I was about four and don't remember it that well but the graphics were sh it.
I played my dad's Pong thing when I was like 2. Then when I was 3 my dad bought an NES and I played that all the time.
Atari 2600, Asteroids.
I still pull out the old Atari every once in a while for some old-old-school fun. It's pretty amazing how well some of those games have stood up after 20-some years. |
I am not sure about which was the earliest but when I was very young my family used to have an Acorn Elctron. We also had a couple of Atari's and they were different models. We had this grey thing, a ZX2000 or something like that, it used casettes.
At school I remember using really old computers. An Arcamedes, an Amstrad and I always remember playing a game called Grannys Garden on the BBC Micro. I have a Nes aswell, in fact thats probably the earliest system I still have. The rest disappeared over the years. Ha, I just remembered playing Lemmings on the Arcamedes at school years and years ago. I loved that game. |
SNES. Before that I was quite the Apple 2/Arcade geek. :p
Hard to say. Either Atari or NES.
my first was my aunt's Intellivision. She had Burgertime and this train game for it... I later found out Konami made if for the arcade but I can't remember the name for the life of me.
omg! burgertime ownz. i still have that in the attic somewhere.
first i ever played was Pong tho. took no cartriges or anything. was just pong in its own system and thats it. actually i still own that too. also in the attic |
Odessey^2
Odessey^2, that thing still works too (at least it did a few years ago.... I dug it out a while ago and scooped the dust out of the cartridge slot.... It had a version of Pac-Man where you could build your own mazes by entering row# and column letter you wanted to add/remove, to change whether you were modifying vertical or horizontal walls you just switched the order (ie. B 7 and 7 B) the little joystick controllers were cool too.
It was Genesis. Anyways, i miss the good ol' sweet days of videogames that lasted until around 1996. I don't even play these new videogame systems except for GBA because GC, PS2, and Xbox all don't interest I.
NES I've played Aari for a little bit..Meh.....Not very fun...
Re: First System
lol, my friend had a sega master system, and we used to play this kick a$$ rpg for it where you go around with a sword and stuff and turn into animals in these little houses, and also we played the *original* phantasy star :D:D:D
she also had an atari something....i think thats what it was anyways, it had an arcade stick for controller...ahh, that was fun, the first system i ever "owned" was snes and spent hours playing super mario world, mario all stars, and of course donkey kong :D **edit** oh, and of course NES, duckhunt & mario w00t |
My first one was either the old bulky Game Boy with the green screen, or an SNES with Super Mario World. I used to play that for hours :D
first system was the nes but i played the sega more alot more countless hours of sonic thank god for new save features
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD USE PERIODS!!!

first owned: Super Nintendo
earliest system played: Intelevision Super Nintendo is the only system you need to own (or have owned at some point), it rules suprime lord of everything, and smites down on its evil oppressors (a.k.a Rosie O'Donnell). It even kills PS2, shut up! it does too! it is awsome power! JINGLE HEIMER SHMIT STYLE!! |
