Wind Waker Commercial
 

Has anyone seen it? Its okay. It shows a high rocky looking tower in the beginning. The nararator, who sounds like a British girl, talks about how a hero needs to travel across Hyrule and save it... or something like that, I don't really listen. I pay attention to the game scenes that it shows.

Anyway, in the end it shows that the nararator is the person locked in the tower. She's wearing this dark cloak and hood over her face. She says that the driving force behind Link traveling across Hyrule is to save her.

So I guess the nararator is Arill. She sounds British which is kind of wierd... Also a little older and wiser than she should...

Anyway, its an alright commercial. I liked the commercial for the Oracle games a while ago better...

Didn't the Oracle commercials use something similar to what the new WW commercials have? or am I thinking of another game? I keep thinking I saw a commercial like that before. But I think the commercial was good. Not great, but not bad. The advertisement in EGM is kind of funny. Damn them and always blocking her from you:mad::D

i didn't really care for the commercial. I tired a demo of it in my local GameStop and the game kick major ass.

The commercial was okay, but not that great.

What channel are you guys seeing this on? Or is this that thing they posted online awhile back?

I saw it while watching TMNT on Saturday and Toonami today during their Giant Robot Week thing.

Its good, but not nearly as good as OOT. Either way it gets the point across and certainly doesnt seem to harm how the game will sell.

Was this the one that reminded me of Harry Potter a while back? Does anyone have a link for watching it online?

Yeah, I saw it at www.zelda.com a few months ago... And I saw it once on Toonami. Do you think it will show while watching WWE?

Yeah... at first I thought those were the graphics, and I was like ":eek:". But I'm pretty sure Wind Waker will turn out awesome.

the chick in the commercial reminds me more of Zelda... but who knows. If you listen to the story she tells it sound more like the tale of OoT...

damn i missed it.. iw as flipping thruogh the channels last night... and i got to espn.. and i saw... and free bonus dsisk zelda masterquest.. then the comercial ended :(

Yeah it does sound like OOT, the girl being high a top a 'castle'.

off topic - how the hell does Link get his grappling hook back after he uses it?

It recoils. :p
So if you check the animation you'll see the hook go out and come back.....the base of the weapon never leaves Link's hand.

In the TV comercial he jumps to smash a wooden door, but it seems like he leaves the rope behind.

Yeah which is good and bad, I'm all for the increased advertsing, but if every commercial break involves that commercial, I may have to hurt the TV.

Anyhow, the commercial is cool and I really do think they are talking about Zelda. I mean if you see the print ad, it shows tha the person is hidden in a castle, but isn't Aryll in some pirate fortress?

The print ad is odd, I never got why Nintendo makes the screens so tiny in thsoe things anyhow.

I don't think its Zelda.

Link doesn't have to save Zelda until near the end of the game. Zelda doesn't even know she's Zelda until at least a good chunk is over. Besides, Link starts the game off wanting to save Arill, not Zelda.

I always miss this commercial. I'm at my computer, then I hear the commercial go on in the other room. I'll start watching T.V more.
