Best game EVER?
Favorite game for ANY CONSOLE
Ok, what is your favorite game of all time, for any console. Think LONG and hard about this.. just pic 1 game that you liked above all others. It can be from any console: PS2, Xbox, NGC, GBA, NES, Genesis, Dreamcast, PC, anything. It can be any type of game: RPG, shooting, FPS, racing, ect. |
I would have to say Chrono Trigger, or some Final Fantasy game, or Zelda..

I've thought about this even before I posted the topic, and I'd have to say FFVII -- I was obsessed with that game.

But if I judge by hours I sat on my ass playing it... it would have to be Sonic 3, or the Madden series. |

I can't really choose one game over another if I like each one so much... they're all special in their own ways *opens drawer with games in it* *gives games a nice lil' pat* :D
buuuut I'll just list some very likely ones... FF7/10... Chrono Trigger... Zelda: LttP... GTA3, and MGS... the end *runs away* But if ya wanna judge by hours (like justin said) it would be either GTA3 or FF7... actually, maybe Chrono Trigger instead of GTA3 because I've beaten Chrono Trigger like 2 times and started playing it again a third... but I'm not sure... I've played the hell outta GTA3... And I beat FF7 twice (and the first time took me 70 hours)... |

The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time takes 1st place for me.
Other nominees: Myst, Riven, Myst III, Perfect Dark(N64 and NGBC), Super Mario 64, Final Fantasy VII, The Legend Of Zelda Majora's Mask, Super Mario Land 1 & 2, GoldenEye OO7, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, every Nintendo produced Zelda, the Super Mario Bros trilogy, Super Mario World and, that epic masterpiece of learn-and-play games, the Logical Journey of the Zoombinis!...... only joking! Definately The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, I had played many RPG's before this but this really opened the world of RPG's up to me and made me into a hardcore RPG gamer, so much so that I actually liked Holy Magic Century (Quest 64)
Other RPG's worth a mention, Shenmue I/II, Chrono Trigger, Super mario RPG, the Final Fantasy's on the SNES, Secret Of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret Of Mana 2 - I found a translation patch for the ROM) Games I hold in high regard, Goldeneye made me like FPS's unfortunatly since then I feel only Perfect Dark has Bested It. Mario 64 although I preferred Banjo - kazooie. And I HAVE to mention Jet Force Gemini, it was and still is one hell of a great game. Theres loads of others but I have already exceeded my option of choosing 1 game. :D |

Yes thanx, aswell as my Nes, Snes and N64 I also have a Master System, Megadrive(Genesis) and Sega Saturn. My brother has a Dreamcast and PS2 so uuh yeah I play loads of other games, its just that the majority of games I like are on nintendo consoles. We were only supposed to mention one game but to silence you here's a bunch of others that I like.
Warcraft (Series) Fallout (Series) Sonic (Series - I prefer the ones on Megadrive/Genesis) Tenchu II: Birth Of The Stealth Assassins (Tenchu 1 was ok) GTA 1 + 2. GTA 3 is one of my new favourites, just wish there was motorbikes as in the originals. There are more but if I go on naming them I'll be here all night. Anyway, You happy now? |
